Of course we should! And then like parrots reply with the same words towards any criticism. Just like a real true fan.
No Jack, i didnt say that.

At the moment, we know absolutely nothing. Vital information is not yet available. I have many scenario's in my head, and i dont want any to be true, but one of them is going to be.

During my life, i have been in between a number of fights between people. Divorces, break-ups, abuse, you name it and at some point i've been somewhat in the middle just cause i knew both parties very well.
These experiences, wich kinda left a mark on me, learned me too many times you can never, judge a situation well with what you see from afar.

You need to go in close and see both stories. Then you need to know both parties and their tendency to be truthfull to judge where to put a consensus. Only then, you can actually judge the situation.

Questions right now are many. Did Vidal leave Juve this fast, or did he asked for a while. Did Marotta sold Vidal just now, or has he been trying for a while. Whats the reason Vidal want out. Whats the reason Marotta want Vidal out. Is there a plan behind Vidal leaving. Is there a reason behind accepting what seems a pathetic fee. Why didnt we wait for more suiters. Why didnt we pull a Bale and announce Vidal leaving AFTER we signed a AM replacement. What is love ? Baby dont hurt me.

We cannot answer any of these questions, before learning what the management and vidal have to say. So we cant judge the situation.

I'd loved to have seen this place when Zizou got sold in 2001
Believe it or not, I was as passionate about the club at that point as I am today, and I can guarantee you, being a bigger fan of Zizou than I am of Vidal, that Arturo's loss hurts far more, seeing the way it happened.

can you imagine how it would be when we sold Baggio, who not only was a balon dor, but also the biggest italian star back then :D
Again, nowhere as painful as this move, and you can tell by my username how big a fan I am of that player. :D

It's true that we cannot judge the situation but as things are right now, we are selling a very important player for a very low amount. We are selling him without having clubs fight for him, for the first club with a bid. Forget his market value which I consider much higher than the speculated numbers, his real value to the club is not accounted for. That alone is enough to judge the move to being close to the worst deal we have ever done if not the worst. I will wait and see what the concerned parties have to say but I am not expecting much and I am not hopeful to upcoming signings if there are any at all.

yeah most likely, but baggio really suffered after that penal miss in 94, and del piero was the one on form so though it hurt to let him go the fact that a very exciting replacement already proved himself made it so it didnt hurt
Being made a scapegoat by 60 million people will do that to you.

This fucking guy  I think a new application for The Society has been lodged, @Jem83

They never learn. I think anything less than a CL will stop these guys from whining.

I've almost missed it.
Same, in a way. It's almost comforting when it happens.

Remember the "next Summer we buy quality"? We just sold our overall best player in the last 4 years for 35M, half what Liverpool got for Sterling.

But his hand were tied, guys. He's from South America. He was caught DUI a few weeks ago. He was a troublemaker.
Sterling's price is inflated because he is English and their requirements, plus his age, and profile in the EPL.

Vidal's value is what the market is willing to pay. The car incident must certainly be considered as a devaluation of his market price, but no doubt he is a great player.

As many have said, he may have come in and said "I want to play for Pep. Let me go." and Marotta may have wanted more, but didn't want the distraction of having him around. Sure we want more money, but if the issue is unhappy player or and this is a big if... there is also a player exchange.

As for Draxler - on his day he's very talented, only 21 and probably headed to England.

meh back in those days we were a powerhouse in european football and we always knew that we could get anybody we wanted. Also the money was unheard of at that time.
Today its extremely difficult for us to land a superstar like Arturo.
