I 100% believe its a technical choice.

We have a lot of grinta players but with Pirlo and Tevez gone, very little creativity.

I still believe Sandro and a quality AM can be afforded with all the sales.

Llorente-12m
Vidal-40m
Isla-8-10m
Ogbonna-12m
Berardi-10m

plenty of money to work with it.

Like i said,we achieved unprecedented financial results and with all the increases we get this year,we were expected to spend 70-80m net imo.
Marotta wasnt honest with his "mercato closed" tho, cause he just gave himself a ton of work

I wonder if after his DUI in Chile, other big clubs backed off hence why we are only dealing with Bayern and no bidding war as a result. If that is the case then everyone's anger should be directed entirely at Vidal for his foolishness.
Remember when i said after Tevez fucking off to boca and Vidal DUI'ing we "should re-evaluate our south american players" ?

I wasent that serious. But beppe might have been

Let's say it is. That it is a 100% technical choice. Why, for the sake of good business, would you only engage 1 club? Unless that 1 club is the one that Vidal already had contact with and agreed to terms prior to Juve and Bayern meeting for him.

And I think that Sandro and a Quality AM can be obtained. I agree with you. I just don't see how a young player that is predominantly a winger (Draxler) is the answer to the AM conundrum.
yeah, thats weird. unless Vidal made it clear he wants to go to Bayern, this deal makes little sense. im sure if we were the ones to initiate this sale, we would involve more clubs to get better offers. Marotta already said multiple times previously that we only sell an important player when he decides to go. so if we assume Vidal wanted out then 2 possible scenarios come to mind:

1. Vidal goes to Marotta and says "i think the time has come and i want to leave, but i dont care where. just sell me wherever you can", and then Marotta goes to Munich and closes the deal in the matter of 1-2 days WITHOUT taking any other potential offers into consideration. so either Marotta is a complete retard (which we all know he isnt) or this is not the case.

2. Vidal goes to Marotta and says "i think the time has come and i want to leave. i already have agreed terms with Bayern and i wish you to respect my decision and let me go there", Marotta then travels to Munich and closes the deal for the maximum money he could have gotten from them considering he has 2 years left of his contract (i always found it weird that he prolonged his contract for just one additional year when he first signed it). one could argue the offer is too low, which i agree, so we probably respected his wish and sold him as soon as possible to have more time to concentrate on our targets. so if my reasoning is correct, which i think it is, then Marotta has done the only thing he could have done other than keeping a player against his will. this really sucks but its not the end of the world. im sure the club is strong enough to recover from this.

Remember the "next Summer we buy quality"? We just sold our overall best player in the last 4 years for 35M, half what Liverpool got for Sterling.

But his hand were tied, guys. He's from South America. He was caught DUI a few weeks ago. He was a troublemaker.
Dybala, Khedira, Mandzu, quality #10 in arrival. Not good enough for you?

You got it all wrong, the "next summer we buy quality" was actually "next summer we SELL quality for peanuts"

You know I love you buddy, but I'm sorry. You can't simply brush this off.

This was not just a DUI. He was driving to endanger, and is very lucky that he didn't kill anyone.

Bepps wouldn't sell a key player without having a reason to. #10 is coming. Just a matter of who???
That isn't a good enough reason to sell Vidal. We won't get the likes of Gotze or Isco. The best we can hope for is Mata or Draxler, and I don't know about you, but those names are rather underwhelming.

Messed up big time with Vidal. People saying that Vidal is worth 35 million? In sales you don't sell a product based on much it's worth, you sell it on the pitch that you make. This rule especially relates to football, just look at how the likes of David Luiz etc. In Vidal, you had the best box to box midfielder in his generation, a champion who has just won the Coppa America. Not to mention that Bayern would have been desperate after the sale of Schweinsteiger. We should have played hard boil and sold at a much higher price. But of course there is more to this, no way is this all on Vidal. Moratta wanted to get rid him, no one sells a high calibure player in mere hours without it already been preplanned, it felt like Moratta couldn't wait until the offer arrived.

Please don't compare this sale to the time when Moggi sold Zidane. Back in 2001 45 million pounds was considered ridiculous, 35 million euros for Vidal in 2015 is a joke.

No,no this is "good"deal."Experts" will find million of reasons why."Huge" 35 million!"Huge "amount. Now we must sell very quickly Asamoah for 2 millions since he had also a knee injury and is coming after that injury.Wow, he will never be the same.Sell for 2 mil.I trust this transfer.Luckily we are so stronger without him.He just make problems for us,drinking, car accidents ,million things.Maybe we have to sell Caceres because he made a car accident doesn't matter that it wasn't his fault.Sell for 500.000 eur. With every selling we are becoming stronger.Much stronger.

What's funny is that Sterling also wanted out, but Liverpool stood their ground and waited for City to meet their offer. We weren't capable of doing that, even when there's still another month and a half to go in the market.

This is all on Marotta.

I won't sell him over it though.
Maybe you or I wouldn't, but if that is deemed egregious enough by your employers, then he didn't follow the rules that were set forth by said employers at the time of employment.

Again, none of us know what the reason is for him leaving, but it just seemed as if you were just brushing that aside.

Bepps selling Arturo in return for a pony trequartista surely can't happen. Can it??
