Car crash accident reason is understable if management want to sell him.
Not mentioning about his knee, contract, behaviour, etc.

juventus already bring khedira. He is similar with vidal.

Get 35 million + khedira is good bussines for someone who drunk and danger his wife and people.

Need to remember pogba, sturaro, pereyra will be better than last season. They will improve.

No need to worry.

So whatever players he buys are we going to see the same arguments emerge like they did with Conte?

You know, the Beppe bought them without consulting the coach and the coach wanted other players and didn't get what he wanted?

When does the "blame Beppe for everything" bandwagon leave the station? I want to know so I can stay at home that day.

This all doesn't add up. If they wanted to sell a player to raise funds to get a true AM and LB, they could have sold Pogba.

Isco and Sandro most likely could have been purchased with those funds. But selling Vidal to raise funds? To lose the engine of that midfield at a price that would barely afford a decent #10?

I know I'm starting to repeat myself, and I'm sorry about that.

There is simply no way Vidal was sold to raise money.
I 100% believe its a technical choice.

We have a lot of grinta players but with Pirlo and Tevez gone, very little creativity.

I still believe Sandro and a quality AM can be afforded with all the sales.

Llorente-12m
Vidal-40m
Isla-8-10m
Ogbonna-12m
Berardi-10m

plenty of money to work with it.

Like i said,we achieved unprecedented financial results and with all the increases we get this year,we were expected to spend 70-80m net imo.

Yeah, I know, but I can't very well have this kind of conversation with my dog, now can I?

Like I said, I am just thinking out loud.
Like you said, the weird thing about this is it being done so quickly, out of nowhere. I hope and pray we have someone lined up, but I just can't figure out who. Most of the names being mentioned seem pretty unrealistic to me and the ones that seem more likely are underwhelming to say the least.

I'm struggling to see the positive side of this so far, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Let's say it is. That it is a 100% technical choice. Why, for the sake of good business, would you only engage 1 club? Unless that 1 club is the one that Vidal already had contact with and agreed to terms prior to Juve and Bayern meeting for him.

And I think that Sandro and a Quality AM can be obtained. I agree with you. I just don't see how a young player that is predominantly a winger (Draxler) is the answer to the AM conundrum.

I don't mind it when a team makes changes, especially when it involves players that stated their intentions long ago (Tevez) or players that quite frankly should not be starting anymore (Pirlo).

Especially when younger alternatives are brought in.

But this? I don't really know what to think yet, because there is no transparency right now on either side. I don't want him to leave. I only have one jersey that I've bought in the past 4 years, and it is his. He's been my favorite player on this club since he got here.

I, along with everyone else, would like to know why? Was it his disciplinary issues? If so, I don't think that these guys are the type to air out dirty laundry in public. Is it health concerns? Bayern would certainly have those concerns as well, one would think.

The only thing that I can think of is that he wants to go. It is his right, but I don't think he will ever have it as good as he had it here. He was adored here. He'll be just another guy at Bayern. None of it makes any sense, and this happened way too fast.
If the reason was disciplinary issues you won't hear it from either side. That will be hushed and another reason will be leaked to the media. Honestly, I don't think we will every know the real reason behind this because there are quite a few possibilities of "why".

I look at it this way...

They initially dint see it coming..

But when they were informed that Vidal asked to leave, the board spoke with Allegri to re-evaluate our market and he might've requested for a top player at AM instead of a direct Vidal replacement considering our creativity issues.

This is my theory imo.But yeah, the Bayern angle is weird.Something doesnt add up.

Or maybe it would,if we bring Goetze in 3 weeks time ? :shifty: :p

@Hustini I think the reason many people (or at least on my part) is that one of best players is leaving for chump change. If it was 50m, then I wouldn't feel as bad. I trust the great man, but I'm going seriously disappointed if Draxler is our answer to our creative problems.

40m + bonuses is a good deal IMO. This isn't football manager and we don't know ANY of the details behind this. What if he ONLY wanted Bayern which would mean that would give Bayner the upper hand, right?

If Vidal forced the move then Beppe's hands were ultimately tied.

Who really knows whats going on?

It does but wish we could get more for him. Again like you said, we don't know the full extent of the deal or even why we are selling for reason. Hopefully something comes of this. And If( a Very big if) Draxler comes, he's going to have to come out the gates running which I don't think he can, at lease not at first.

I wonder if after his DUI in Chile, other big clubs backed off hence why we are only dealing with Bayern and no bidding war as a result. If that is the case then everyone's anger should be directed entirely at Vidal for his foolishness.

28, Reckless, has lingering knee problems. I've see players with worst baggage get big money transfer Hus, you know this.
