An other person has entered the discussion about Buffon (hope that you will understand me with my english...)in order of priority for himself:
1. Buffon will stay at Juve. This is what he said a lot of times but he will only stay with a good team that can compete for Serie A.
2. if he will go away: First priority to Milan but they havent made a good offer (not offered Gila because they need to buy another striker to replace him)
3. with Lippi out of Italy in an important bench in a Team that play the CL
3. Buffon will not join Inter because he hate them and he has any friends there (only Matrix) - only inter has made an important offer

Buffon is among the best goalies that might exist in this world. YES ! but it's not like the whole team lies on a Goal Keeper. NO ! I respect Buffy for what he has done and wish him good luck wherever he goes.

I am getting tired of Buffon going out to the press everyday. It seems he is preparing the land to take off. If he does he will loes the oportunity of become a trully juve legend, and if he is not smart enough to understand the importance of that I dont want him in the team. Juve is more important than any player. I have been a juve fan for the last 20 years, I have seen a lot players pass and go, but the truth is at the end of the day what remains, what stays is LA JUVE, and ofcourse, us.

cheers

Of FFS how can people be like this? Do you honestly thinks Buffon wakes up and calls the press everyday to say this bullshit? NO! They stalk him, call him, jump him from behind whenever they get the chance and when they don't they just write whatever the hell they want.

I'm not sick of his whineing, he has every right to whine, but I am sick of yours and how quickly you can turn around against our most important, not to mention loyal players.

Word. Every word from his mouth is true. However, it is true that Juventus is bigger and more important than Buffon. I will personally get over it if he leaves. Maybe not soon but I will......

That's true, Juve will go on, just like it did after ZZ left. But it makes me sick that everyone gets on the hate band wagon and starts the bashing as soon as one or two articles comes out. That's exactly what those articles are for, to create tension. I'm not saying they aren't true, some of them are but I thought people already got used to the fact we are media's #1 enemy from this season.

exactly, why cant we have a press silence now the same way we had one after the arsenal game.

as for gigi even if he does leave to milan or even inter we owe him tonnes of respect and we should all wish him the best. we all know the reasons for that. he deserves all the respect.

Here we go...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vice-President Adriano Galliani insists that Milan already have a goalkeeper and are not interested in signing Gianluigi Buffon.

The world champion seems close to leaving Juventus and the latest rumours suggesting that he was buying a villa on Lake Como fuelled speculation the player might join one of the San Siro outfits this summer.

“Buffon? No, we already have Nelson Dida and he will stay between Milan’s posts,” Galliani told Sky Italia, confirming the club’s faith in the Brazilian.

Galliani also stated that he hopes Paolo Maldini will keep on playing next year, after the 38-year-old captain said that he would like to continue for one more season, knee injury permitting.

“He is an element who represents continuity for us and that means strength. We are counting on the fact that he can play for another year,” explained the former Lega Calcio chief.

The Rossonero then commented on the latest statements coming from Liverpool Coach Rafa Benitez, who declared that his men are mentally stronger than Milan.

“I do not know how he can say that. In any case, I prefer not to make any forecasts on this Final,” concluded Galliani.

IMO, dida is just doing great for milan , i watched him in the CL ties and he saves milan many times and those saves were class. I mean why these 2 teams are developping this obssesion of having the best world keeper. Barcelona made it last term with an overrated goalie. MU made it with an average goalie ( let's say a former juventus player as the journalists like to say).

Italians are just crazy !! ( no offense to the italian buddies here )

Buffon is only leaving if the transfer targets dont come to Juve, i.e. we wont be competing for the Scudetto next season. I hope he is saying these to pressurize Secco to make some big signings and showing the transfer targets that there are still players with high ambitions.
