I guess Buffon doesn´t think we will be a powerhouse for a next few seasons considering our transfer plans (*cough* Frings, Almiron, Grygera, Salihamidzic *cough*) so he is thinking about leaving for a stronger club that will fight for Scudetto and CL.....
I think we will survive his departure, it won´t be impossible. For me personally, it cannot be compared to the situation when Zidane left and we survived that, didn´t we?

If buffon leaves i preffer to go abroad. Liverpool, Man U, Barselona, Arsenal. They al l need keeper. If he goes to Liverpool. We can get some between Gerrard, Sissoko, Xabi Alonso for him. If he goes to Arsenal we can get gallas, Fabregas, or Van Persie. But if he goes to Milan i will prefer Pirlo and Gatuso or Kaka . I just hope we don't make some mistake like Mutu/ Bojinov deal !

If Lippi came back though Gigi would stay. And i think Lippi will come back not this summer but next or durring the middle of next season if things go badly.
I really hope Gigi stays ecause money can not replace him. I also think we can build a very good team without bags of money.

I don´t think so. We need money for a good squad. Not only that we have to buy some class players, we have to pay their wages also. And I really think we will need a lot of players in the next 3-4 years.
I also think Milan will not give us their star players (they are not stupid like we are) but if we really get loads of money I would at least use it wisely. BTW Gilardino can stay the fuck out of Juventus, he would be a step backward.

If we sell him to Milan they will be very strong team next season. Look what's happend when we sold Ibra and Viera to Inter. We are strengthening our rivals. This is so stupid. If Giggi want's to leave us and the same time to remain in Italy we should sell him to Roma. They need a keaper badly. And we can get De Rossi and Mexes from them. This would be good deal IMO.

I think that our management should tell Giggi that if he wants to leave we can't sell him to rival clubs like Milan and Inter. This would be a big mistake. This mean that in the next 7-8 years Milan wont have any problem with goalkeepers. This is not in our interst. Barsa, Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool they all need a keeper. Even Bayern will need a keeper this year. I heard that they will have lots of money for new players.
That´s not true. Arsenal can´t afford Gigi. Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern are happy with goalkeepers they already have. Maybe only Barcelona could make us a offer.

I could see him going to Man utd for some reason if he were to leave Italy. He respects their team it seems and VDS is old and not as good as people in England thought.
If i had to sell him I would sell him to either Utd or Barca cuz I think they could pay more than Milan or Inter and we would not have to face him. But it is up to Gigi in the end
