Well, I mean they get results first & show their arrogance afterwards. A results first, talk later type of thing.
Too often, you see big mouths, arrogance, etc by people, clubs, whatever who can't back it up when it matters. Not so with those pesky Germans.
Actually they are arrogant all the time. Just try to remember all the transfer drama surrounding Diego and Vidal and what they said around that time. Barca has nothing on their arrogance.

There's a difference between arrogant fans and arrogant board. Fans are only fans, while the board should never act like a 13 years old teenage girl on period.
Who gives a shit if it's not our board? Which also acts like 13 year old teenage girls a lot of the time...

Who cares what Beckenbauer thinks? They've kicked him out even from Bayern and he is also famous with his predictions as the "German Pele".
Gigi has a few good years as our number one keeper. Perhaps he was a bit flatfooted on Alaba's goal, but he saves our asses on average 2-3 times a game this season alone. He is a model for players and we've never stuff such as Neuer's sagas with him (which der Keiser was a vivid part of)...

Well surely there are more important matters. But people are still sad and angry after yesterday so beckenbauer insulting our legend will cause some uproar.

Beckenbauer and especially Rummenigge are the reason I fucking hate Bayern.

They have been talking shit about us since Willy Sagnol saga.

If they eliminate us, I wish they reach the final and choke once again like they have always.

Bayern "almost won it" Munchen. :howler:

I love Buffon and that game yesterday won't change it, but he made two mistakes which cost us two goals, so I wasn't too happy with him. He was clearly sleeping/too slow on the first and failed to properly deal with that shot which lead to the second goal. He looked nervous throughout the game and kept putting our defenders in great difficulty with his passing.

All in all a very poor game by Gigi.

Buffon: 'I apologise to fans'
By Football Italia staff

Gianluigi Buffon has apologised to Juventus and their fans after the defeat to Bayern Munich and “cannot object” to Franz Beckenbauer’s scathing criticism.

The goalkeeper did not seem his usual self in last night’s 2-0 Champions League quarter-final loss.

“It happens in this profession to make mistakes,” Buffon told Italian TV show Striscia La Notizia.

“I’m disappointed, as the game was compromised, so I have to apologise to the team and the fans.”

Honorary Bayern Munich President Beckenbauer caused controversy when he said Buffon “seemed like a pensioner” when letting David Alaba’s deflected effort go past him after 30 seconds.

“I cannot object to anything, as Beckenbauer is an old sage. We all just have to stay quiet and wait for the next game to make up for it.”
