It has been a tragic accident with some players of Biellese a deeper Football Club and it seems that the sister of Gigi was involved. It is reported that she is save now but in the accident they have had some dead peoples...tragic...

wish all good luck and a fast recover

Henry Tapped For Golden Ball Award?

Ronaldinho? Nope. Buffon? Maybe. Henry? S'il vous plait...

It appears Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has been tabbed to win his first Ballon d'Or (Golden Ball) award as Europe's top footballer, says a source close to Goal.com.

The Frenchman led his club team to a runner-up finish in the Champions League last season, and he helped inspire France to the World Cup finals.

French magazine France Football awards the Ballon d'Or, which is voted on by European journalists, one from each member country of UEFA. Only players on European clubs are eligible for the award. The winner is set to be announced on November 27.

Reports last week hinted that Juventus and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon was being tapped for the award, which would make Buffon only the second goalkeeper ever to be so honored.

Barcelona forward Ronaldinho is the reigning Golden Ball winner, and the Brazilian recently picked up the FIFPro award for World Player of the Year in a voting by fellow footballers.

If Henry does win the award, he will be the first Frenchman to win since Zinedine Zidane won in 1998. Henry also would become the first Premiership-based player to win since Liverpool's Michael Owen won in 2001.

Gigi Buffon’s agent has insisted that the goalkeeper will remain at Juventus until June – but admits a summer switch may be on.

The World Cup winner has been linked with clubs such as Manchester United, Inter and Milan, while Chelsea were associated with a January swoop after serious injury to Petr Cech.

However, Silvano Martina told the Processo di Biscardi television show that Turin would remain his home for now.

“Gigi will stay at Juventus until June and that is for certain,” the representative confirmed.

“We have an excellent relationship with the Juve management and we have agreed that we will speak again after promotion to Serie A.

“Any conversation now would be premature.

“However, I must admit that Gigi would be interested in an experience abroad,” he added.

Martina also confirmed suggestions that the Golden Ball nominee was close to joining Milan after Germany 2006 glory.

“We already had an agreement with Milan and we knew Gigi would wear the Rossoneri jersey as Christian Abbiati was set to move to Juventus,” he noted.

“Then Torino interfered by signing Abbiati and the deal for Buffon was not concluded.”

Buffon joined the Old Lady from Parma in 2001 for a record £32m. Reports last week claimed that Inter have already set £21m aside for a summer raid.

He's not leaving to Milan or Inter, im sure we can get him to move abroad.

He was on his way to Milan but everything was messed up by Torino, thankfully.

Most likely place for Buffon to go to is straight out EPL, with Chelska, or ManU.

Radio Radio say that Cannavaro won the Ballon d'Or, Gigi 2nd and Henry 3rd. They're the only ones reporting it so it's NOT official news.
