Gianluigi Buffon believes the Premier League could cater for his future as he admits his penchant for English football while staying quiet over his time at Juventus.

The Italian international goalkeeper is expected to return from a long injury lay-off in January.

Reports have suggested Buffon is still a wanted man in the Premier League - a competition he admires and desires.

"The Premier League fascinates me as many great players play there," he told BBC.

"I still think Serie A is still the most difficult competition though.

"My future? Now is not the time to speak about it."

That's what I got from reading Marotta's comments today(wages thing) + the stuff that happened during the year(not showing up at the stadium, events...).
I had the feeling Marotta was forcing Del Neri to keep on talking negative about Buffon, just to force him out.. If this is the case, this is really sad then.

From all the players that stayed in Serie B, Buffon's sacrifice was the biggest one. I know he earns loads of money, but would be ugly to see him go this way..

but then again, this could be another crappy Buffon rumor..

I don't believe Buffon will go, but even if Marrota got his wish as from what the tabloids say, who the hell will he pick as a replacement. I just know I wouldn't be happy with anyone else at this moment. Already pissed this half season for letting go of Tezeguet and holding on to the Two dumb Neanderthals.

Storari and Manninger.

I'd like to see Buffon stay though.

You like to see him stay but are you saying Storari or Manninger are better than him? As you bold out that question and picked Storari or Manninger?
