Yeah, in a waayyyyy completely different way than Zambrotta. I would like to think he would respect Juve more than that to go there.

Buffon staying put In the meantime, Juventus chairman Giovanni Cobolli Gigli ruled out any transfer of Buffon. "Even the value of inestimable assets like skyscrapers or monuments (I don't know what to compare Buffon to) can dip at such difficult economic times as these. Nevertheless, Buffon is invaluble to us, he's a true champion and as far as we're concerned, he's staying here" he commented on the issue of swapping goalies with Milan who would give Abbiati in order to get the Italian national goalkeeper. "Buffon", added Cobolli, "is right to want to win, he's totally right and we want that too. Even the fact that we are going after a huge star like Diego and others, means that we want to make sure we are in the right shape to be even more competitive".

I would understand if Buffon wanted to leave to a club with better chance of silverware, but Milan FFS?

The only reason they're 2nd right now is because that became their only objective since February or some shit.

Well that was our objective too. What place are we again?
FFS, they dropped out earlier out of UEFA Cup than we out of CL, they dropped out of Coppa Italia earlier than we did and their main objective was Serie A whole season long, otherwise they wouldn't be able to finish fourth. Also, their big season was this one, cause this summer they won't be able to spend shit, while we will rejuvenate the squad, and they fucked up this season as hard as we did. There is no difference if you finish second or third, you're not the 5th one, nor the 1st one. So stop saying that their season was better, as it was not, their season ended in fucking february, at least we gave a shot to three tournaments while their only chance slipped away ridicously against Werder.
