My Scudetto-winning Juve’ – General director Blanc reveals the club’s strategies: Three new signings, Buffon stays
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Again! who are those 3 new signings?!!!
The media are having alot of fun with our situation... They are making alot of money out of our asses.
Personaly, I respect Buffon alot. He is a man of his word and he has proven that last summer and throughout this season.
If he chooses to move on to another team I'll be very sad but I'll never be disappointed (except if its Inter). I have a good feeling that he is not going anywhere.. This feeling gets deeper and deeper everytime I remember when he was suspended and watched the game with the fans.
If I was the secco I would not sell Buffon at any price UNLESS he wants to leave. If so then 80 million euros MIGHT be enough.. I might ask for more..

Cause if you look at it, IF we sell Buffon we'll need:
1 EXCELLENT goal keeper
4 OUTSTANDING deffenders
Just to cover his loss

Well said... No money can compensate his absence, but if he wanna leave, we have all to respect his decision

Grygera, Salihamidzic and Criscito. :D
then Buffon will leave 120%:D
i think whether Buffon leaves or not depends on our new signings
Buffon doesn't promise he'll stay because we are still not a relatively weak team compare with Milan,Inter,Roma. If Secco brings 3 big names , i'll have more confidence he'll stay.

Julio Cesar renewal doubt
Friday 27 April, 2007
Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar’s agent will meet with club officials shortly to discuss a possible contract extension.

The Brazilian’s current deal with the San Siro outfit expires in June 2008, but the player has asked for a new agreement until 2011, along with an increase in his annual wage.

Julio Cesar’s agent, Josias Cardoso, is scheduled to meet Lele Oriali and Marco Branca on May 15, but has made no secret of the fact that his client was annoyed by the latest links with Gianluigi Buffon.

“These continuous rumours on Buffon have bothered him and made him unsure of what will happen. In any case, we have received several offers from foreign clubs,” explained Cardoso.

“Therefore we are sure that my client’s career will continue at the highest levels, no matter what the outcome of the talks with Inter,” he continued, who dismissed claims Cesar will be included in a swap deal for Buffon.

“No one has spoken to me about this option, I don’t want to comment on something that isn’t official. It is logical that any solution will have to meet our approval,” concluded Cardoso.

Reports in Italy suggest that Inter are willing to offer the former Flamengo man a £1m-per-year deal, half of what Barcelona are ready to pay to lure the player into leaving the San Siro.

“I don’t know if I will stay, we still have to discuss my future,” confirmed Julio Cesar.

When I was watching Real Madrid vs Valencia earlier this week, the commentator said that Casillas has become the world's best goalkeeper after Buffon became a Serie B's material and Cech's head injury.

In my opinion, yes, Casillas is one of the best goalkeepers but not the first and not the second as well. Admittedly, what this commentator said has to be the crappiest thing I've heard in ages. What Buffon being in Serie B has to do with the fact being the world number 1 shot-stopper. :wallbang:

FFS, why do you guys have to turn every thread into one of your sexually deprived conversations?? It's getting old and fucking ridiculous. Take that shit somewhere else. You're the reason why threads keep getting padlocked daily.

Probaly due to a lack of action, they have to recuperate it by talking about it, don't let it get you, although you have a point, they seem to be discussing it everywere, maybe the mods can make a thread for them in The Hangout and clean up the mess these boys made.

Dude ... I stopped listening to Al Jazira commentators ages ago ... LOL ... hell last match against Genoa the guy was contradicting himself ... he was going "this is the last season for Buffon in Juve " in the beginning of the match and by the end he was going "Buffon will stay with Juve no matter what happens next year ..."

They have all the crappy things I ever heard ... :)
