did he partnered Gilardino during the European U21 Championship.....? they did won, but i dun think i heard too much about PAzzini compared to Gilardino....

I'm 99.99% sure that it was Giuseppe Sculli who partnered Gila during last year's U-21. All I know is that now Pazzini is a feature player for the U-21.

I'd like to see this boy on the pitch first, since Sergio's opinion was definitely encouraging... Anyway, I thought that this kid Volpato would be the next Del Piero?! :D

Based on Olympics Sergio is right. Sculli was the that played alongside Gilardino. Anyway, Sculli has been a major disappointment IMO, as he didnt quite utilize his speed to effect, and Del Nero was a pleasant surprise.
I guess Pazzini, Montolivo, Aquilani, Ferronetti, et al are new generation of stars coming through that hasnt quite broken through the first team.:)

Del Nero seems an interesting prospect, indeed.

I'm looking forward to seeing Gasbarroni, Montolivo and Pazzini in action.

Correct, they all broke through in the Norway match, Gentile says the new Italy is the best ever, Aquilani, Pazzini, Chiellini, Rosina, are all very very good. Gianpaolo Pazzini scored a nice goal, good movements, and had a nice chanche as far as i remember. Aquilani was superb.

Great to hear.:), (though I still disagree with the stadium thing ;)). Like sombody says these are all decent players on CM, I mean Rosina's crossing is 20 in the game.:D. Now throw away CM, and can anyone tell me how these guys play like in real life?

I have never played them in CM, so i said what i saw. Pazzini is Del Piero type of player, he is a support striker, and he was good. Rosina was superb on the right flank, he is solid defensively also. Aguilani, very good player, reminds alot about Totti, he had some good long shots, much power in his shots. And a nice header in the second goal.

Since we have Trez,Zlatan and DP as our main striker

i think its hard to see gila in our team..

i think he is not a kind of player that want be a bench warmed.

And Pazzini actually,a hot young blood in seria A.
we'll see his action this season with atalanta.
and imo ,he is more cheaper than Gila.

Gila is great player, but his price tag skyrocketing time by time.
i think pazzini will be the best options for us.

If he make great action in serie A this season...
his price will grow up significantly.

Base on Sergio "report" .......great job Sergio.

i have see this kid play for some time..and i absolutely agree with you.

So what we waiting for,get him now and let him stay for 1 year in atalanta.
for serie A experience, and he ready to join us next year.

Well, and I know that you're going to laugh and say "Yeah right, where have I heard this before", but this kid reminds me very much of one Alex Del Piero. He's a little taller than Alex, and about 5-6 kb heavier, his build reminds me more of Zambrotta, but his playing style and flair are much more reminiscent of Del Piero.

Atalanta played a basic 4-3-3 system to start off with, and was usually smack dab in the middle on the attacking line, although, because of his ball skills I have seen him play both on the left and right side. Later on, as they were struggling, they switched to a 4-2-3-1, with him playing the lone striker, and that seemed to re-energize them down the stretch. To me , his best asset is his vision, and this is apparent when he plays as a support striker. Yes, he can score goals, although I don't think that he will be a 20-25 goal scorer in Serie A. You'll probably end up seeing him score in the vicinity of 15 goals, but will rack up a ton of assists and make things easier for everyone else on the pitch.

That's his biggest asset, the ability to create for others. There was a thread that was opened up about 6 months ago about him, and I had stated back then that Juve needs to sign this kid, ASAP.
How tall is he? Weight? Style of play? Technique? Dribbling skills?
