love to see him back, but afraid we pushed him away for good with the treatment for the last couple of seasons.

Well, we're not saying to buy back Maresca, we're just regretting the fact that we sold our only creative central midfielder.
I still say we should go for rosicky, I mean if Atletico Madrid can affort him, we should be able to get him too. And I've said this before Hiddink is quitting his job at PSV after this season ...

Looking at what Capello chose to keep(Blasi and Oliveira) I think losing Maresca,Tacchinardi and Appiah was a VERY BAD idea.All 3 played with their heart,could hold and pass the ball.Hell!!! Maresca and Appiah could shoot too!!!Blasi and Oliveira are not IMO better than any of that trio.
However,we sold Enzo to Seville and Appiah to Fenerbahce-so those chapters are closed.Tacchy is on loan at Villareal and it would be great to have him back.
Maresca and Appiah had great potential,Capello was just not patient enough to see.
