oh,portugese ppl were doing some quite stupid things too.
they had posters and big papers etc saying on it: Greece where are you now? and similar bullshit.

when you lose to someone, you are acting like the other one is your enemy.
why do you think i hate milan? Because of the CL 2003....
at the start of the tourement I had sympathie for Portugal, but game after game they made themselves very unsympathic, the way they played, the way the players acted on the pitch was simply a shame.

There was a big hype in Germany for the world cup. Many people who cheered the national team did it, because it was the cool thing to do these days. I guess many of them don't even know how many players are usually on the pitch. They are mad because there is a reason less to drink and party. In 2 months many of them wont't be interested in football anymore. Real football fans accept the fact that a good German side lost after a big fight and classic football game against a great italian side.

To me, the germans never were in the position where one could say that they deserved to be world cup winner. They have got pretty far, so far so good, but look at their opponents; they undoubtetly had the easiest way to the half-finals, and beating teams like costa-rica (and even getting scored 2 (!) goals from them), poland, sweden is not an art really. Argentina was the first real tough opponent and they didn't really show great skills there. ARG had a bad day, no luck and the germans won by penalties.

Germans can't loose, and they can't accept that they have been beaten by a great italian team. I mean, just look at the game; Germans did not have one really big opportunity. some far-range shots but thats it. Italian defense did really good (imo best in the world) and the 2 goals were more than deserved.

damn i guess germans are poor losers......but i no if i was german i would cheer for the italians to win in the final because if they win that means the germans lost to the best team in the tourny. but if they cheer for italy to lose then their would of been 2 teams better then them in the tourny.

If I was German I'd go for France b/c Italy as 3 WC's just like them and wouldn't want them to get a 4th one.

Actually, the subject of this thread is Germans are bad loosers, not losers. It's in reference to all the Italian pizza they're eating -- and the belt notches they must ease up on to let out their guts. :agree:

What the hell? Germany had easy opponents in Argentina and Sweden, while Italy was so unfortunate to draw Ukraine and Australia

And how has Italy shown that they really deserve it either?? (Ahem, Aussssstraaalia) :disagree:

That's nothing. I am waaaaaay over here in Trinidad and I just wondered (not accused) if the Germans were cheating and one went off on me like a lunatic, attacking my character for several DAYS afterwards. And poor me had nothing to do with them out of the final. And actually this was BEFORE they were out of the final. I can only imagine the trashing I would have gotten if I had said it AFTER they had gone out of the final.
