Yeah, I saw that. The 1nd half was better than the first but this win for Stuttgart is deserved, even this result. They totally outclassed us. I feel ashamed for this performance. Klose is playing unbelievably poor. He should be on the bench vs. Ajax. :(
Schaff is a very good and tough coach, am sure he will make the right choice. But r the players on the bench better ?

Not really. Klose should play after I thought about it. But sometimes even the best players need to get a signal that they cannot go on like this. Players of whom you expect to lead the team and not hide behind it. Afterall the 2nd half was not that bad and our performance on Wednesday will surely be better.

I'm a Werder fan more or less since birth. I was raised a supporter by my dad who took my to the stadium first in 1996 ( we beat Bayern 3-0 :) ). Werder is and will always be the No1 in my heart. But there's another team becoming more important to me and that is Juve with its great history and brilliant players. As a fan of Italian football who I have been for a long time, Juve was just the right team for me. I also adored players like Del Piero, Buffon and others not in Juve anymore :)D ) for many years. My love for Juve is not very old but is becoming strong and stronger. And people who say that you cannot support two teams from the bootom of your heart can suck my balls :toast: .

In the CL, I was rooting for Werder and was deeply depressed after the sad knock-out.

About Klose: For fist I obviously hope he does not leave Werder since he's kinda irreplacable at the moment if we cannot attract another world-class striker (I think it will hardly be possible). But if he leaves Werder, I hope he moves to Juve so I still can enjoy his goals. :)tup: and 2nd :toast: )

FC Schalke 04 have confirmed that midfielder Hamit Altıntop will leave the club to join FC Bayern München on a free transfer this summer.

    Moving on
The versatile 24-year-old stated his aim to leave the Bundesliga leaders last week after turning down Schalke's offer of a new deal. Although Altıntop refused to reveal his intended destination at the time, it came as little surprise when it emerged the Turkish international would be going to Bayern in the close season.

    Three-year deal
"I have decided to accept Bayern's three-year offer," said Altıntop on Wednesday. "Schalke have made that decision easy for me in recent weeks, as I haven't started on a regular basis despite playing well. I want to become a leader at Bayern, which will be the next stepping stone in my career." The move was welcomed by Bayern coach Ottmar Hitzfeld who, after comparing him to Juventus-bound Hasan Salihamidžić, said: "He is a team player, he has good stamina and can play in defensive or attacking roles."

    High hopes
"I have learned a lot here at Schalke, and there have been ups and downs that have helped me develop," said Altıntop, who arrived in Gelsenkirchen from third division outfit SG Wattenscheid 09 in 2003. He has since played 101 times in the Bundesliga, scoring eight goals, and has appeared in 19 of Schalke's 20 league games this term. However, he has made just eight starts as his side have soared to the top of the German top flight. "I want to go out on a high," he added. "I want to leave Schalke with the league title."

Altintop has only started nine Bundesliga matches this season, mostly kept on or used from the bench.

"I can bring speed, finishing and strength in the tackle," the former Wattenscheid midfielder.

"I know I can bring everything needed for a world class team."

Following Michael Ballack's move to Chelsea and Sebastian Diesler's shock retirement from football, Bayern look set to be three more midfielders light next season with the expected sale of midfielder Owen Hargreaves, the transfer of Hasan Salihamidzic to Juventus and the expiry of Ali Karimi's contract.

Who r Schalke playing instead of Hamit?
This is the formation Schalke played against Werder:

    ----------------------Neuer-------------------
    ------------------------------------------------
    -Hoogland---Bordon----Krstajic----Rodriguez
    -------------------------------------------------
    -------------Ernst-----Bajramovic-----------
    ------------------Lincoln-----------------------
    -------------------------------------------------
    --Varela--------------------------Lovenkrands
    ------------------Kuranyi--------------------------

This can be regarded as a usula Schalke line-up. As you can see, Hamit's position is covered most of the time by Fabian Ernst and Zlatan Bajramovic.

Bremen loses again. vdV scores two times for Hamburg in Bremen. 0-2

    Bayern loses 1-0 against Aachen.

Schalke 2-2 in Wolfsburg after a 0-2 lead.

Stuttgart won 4-0 in Frankfurt yesterday and are second now.

Seems like HSV aren't going down after all.

What a pity, it was so much fun to sing "Zweiten Liga, Hamburg ist dabei..." during Hertha BSC-HSV.

And Hertha screwed up at home vs. Mainz. Don't care, I'm an Union Berlin fan!
