Arron Hunt got a hattrick for Werder, Stuttgart got well beaten by Leverkusan 3-1 and Bayern just scraped through to beat Geof's men (Hertha Berlin) away to win 3-2

No top team plays consistent this year. Now Bayern is back in the title race after a horrible season. Doesn't speak for the other teams. Next week it's Bayern vs. Bremen.

It sucks, but I'm glad Sali played so good.

And Alltagsheld, you said Hunt was bad in the last weeks? guess Schaaf proved you wrong,
I'm so glad that he's good again. You could really see how his self-confidence grew after the first goal. He was really weak in the past few games. Now we have someone we can count on again upfront...

Excellent game by Diego again. He is a real engine for Werder. Good game by Salihamidzic too.

I´m excited how good is HSV doing now, they are on fire. Van der Vaart is excellent, with him on the pitch Hamburg is a different team.....

I guess the teams in the Bundesliga want to give Bayern the chance to win the title or reach Europe.
Both Schalke and Stuttgart both drew and Mario Gomez got injured and i think he will be out for a month

Former Germany international defender Christian Ziege has replaced Peter Pander as sport director at Borussia Monchengladbach.

Pander resigned from his post at the Bundesliga's bottom club on Thursday and was replaced hours later by the 35-year-old former Bayern Munich and Tottenham star.

Ziege, who had been coach to one of Gladbach's junior teams, has now taken on the task of saving the five-time Bundesliga champions from relegation.

"It's all about Borussia and that's a great club," Ziege commented.

"It's an honour for me to be given this job and I will do everything in my power to keep us in the Bundesliga."

    Hamburg - Leverkusen 0:0
    Bayern - Werder Bremen 1:1 ('7 Podolski, '66 Rosenberg)

I'm happy with this one point. Bayern played better most of the time, but at the end we finally woke up and earned a point. Nice goal by Rosenberg after Almeida passed the ball over Kahn's head. Class! :weee:

What pissed me off were again Bayern's players. Always provoking and doin' nasty fouls. Sagnol should have been sent off, he kicked Bremen's players a lot.
A point today is okay with me .

Podolski had 2 big chances and Brazzo missed another great chance in the 2nd half. A quite lucky point for Bremen. Bayern is far better now than they were the months before. They were very motivated, intense and aggressive. Almost too much.
