IMO not the best but among the best surely. It's surely amazing.
I don't think it has anything to do with marketing. I believe somebody killed the show with a reason: profit.
They are planning to do David Fincher's remake (HBO). If it goes well with the audience my guess is they will continue it (which is why they killed the show in the first place IMO). I'm not justifying the action, though, I think it's a pity it didn't go on with the same actors.
"Quarry is the story of Mac Conway, a Marine who returns home to Memphis from Vietnam in 1972 and finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public. As he struggles to cope with his experiences at war, Conway is drawn into a network of killing and corruption that spans the length of the Mississippi River."
I will try first episode on HBO Nordic as soon as tonight's Eid festivity wind down.
Seems to be based on hard boiled Parker / Elmore Leonard type of gritty novels. Like the main actor from other projects, he kind of reminds me of Tom Hardy.
Yeah I'm on 2nd last episode. Harlem gangster chic series, feels like a 70s or 80s gritty Shaft flick, makes sense since that's how the comic kinda was.
