Easy. The aspect of you that believes he understands the world on a more fundamental level than most. The show appeals to your ego.

But he doesn't understand. That's the beauty of it. We are seeing the world from his twisted view

Maybe. Like I said before, I've only seen five episodes. If that's what it truly does, I'd like that a lot. So far I'm not convinced.

Not everything can be a Utopia. :D

The main storyline isn't that complicated, but for it's about proper execution of the material. It's groundbreaking in that it bothers to get the details right. Which is a far cry from all the programs before it with their big screens that show a line of text and a search box for everything.

But before you simply the show as flat transparent glass, I dare you to do that with the Angela Moss character for example. She's the best character on the show this season.
@X - I rewatched 'Utopia' a couple of weeks ago. It's still great. Out of the last 3-4 years, it's the best show around.

IMO not the best but among the best surely. It's surely amazing.

Seriously. You were right. With better marketing, it would flourish. It's vastly underrated.
I don't think it has anything to do with marketing. I believe somebody killed the show with a reason: profit.

They are planning to do David Fincher's remake (HBO). If it goes well with the audience my guess is they will continue it (which is why they killed the show in the first place IMO). I'm not justifying the action, though, I think it's a pity it didn't go on with the same actors.
