Before The Blacklist and GOT starts up again I've been watching (aside from Netflix) Blindspot and the new The X-Files season. The former is decent enough, not quite slick or believable enough to rival the better in the genre. As for X-Files they threw far too much into the first episode, no build up or suspension at all. Aliens, abductions everywhere. Nice to see Annet Mahendru again though.

The third episode of the new X-Files was pretty weird, must have been a different director :p
4th episode is decent/good. That thrid episode was total BS, I was like :sergio: lol

But overall it's pretty shitty. I'd probably stop watching had it not been for the originals in the previous years. They killed the spirit of the show. It's very weird.

@radekas you still watching Flash?

Was wondering who the guy in the mask is, the real Jay Garrick? Who's the one on Earth-1 then? Some clone or other shit?
If he's evil than why would Zoom kill/kidnap him?

Why would you want to know that now? :D

Just as I feared, I think I will also pass.
At first, it was kind of cool to see the early stages of interactions with a New York Dolls, a Led Zeppelin, etc. But then when it's some legendary artist introduced every 5-10 minutes, it feels like a revolving door where the producers are trying to reach us with sheer volume and variety -- like some kind of fashion show runway -- rather than any depth and focus.

If people power through the slower and weaker first season, they will find a gem of a series in season 2 and 3. Third one best by far so far. So much intrigue and harsh colonial reality.

War & peace was utterly fantastic  fine cast, especially Dano as Pierre :star:
Yep. I was so happy that they didn't have English actors speaking with fake Russian accents. Biggest pet peeve ever in period pieces is when they make them in English but use fake accents. If making it in English, let them speak regularly.

Dano's best role since There Will be Blood. Excellent performance.

So it turned out that the easiest answers are usually the right ones. Zoom is Hunter Zolomon :allegri:.
But who is the guy in the iron mask? :wth:

Hunter Solomon as in Earth 1 Jay that Jay Garrick (Earth 2 Jay) saw in the park, is Zoom? But why did he act like it was a complication that he killed Jay Garrick (like it was a mistake, didnt mean to, just lashing out randomly, aiming for Barry or Wells), is it because Garrick was his spy/under his controll, or a double he just changed places with at times so he could inflitrate Star Labs on occasion as "Jay"? Either way, its confusing, his reaction and the fact Zoom is apparently from Earth 1 all along and not from Earth 2 as assumed.

But I repeat, who the heck is under the mask? It seemed like it was another Jay doppelganger, no?

Honestly, watch it, its pretty good, becomes fantastic in latter seasons.

Also tried Vinyl, tried to like it, but we could barely get through the first episode. So boring and uneventful...I cant remind the last time I found a HBO show this unappealing in first impression, maybe that mormon series with the guy with several wifes?

I guess both "Jays" are actually Hunter Zolomons from E1 and E2. One of them was Zoom and the other was probably powerless guy recruited to help. I'm guessing the real Jay Garrick is under the mask.

Or they will introduce more Earths now, especially since they crossover with Supergirl soon.

I really liked the season opener to Broad City. Yeah, you can insinuate that it's a sort of feminist Workaholics, but it was pretty damn funny.
