You arent big enough Firefly fan if you havent seen Dollhouse :D Btw its just ok interesting potential with the dystopic world and themes it entails, but doesnt really fuffill it. But it aint no Firefly (no shit, I watched it whole series like 8 times lol, and recommend and got dozens hooked on it), but I meant if a creator makes a series like Firefly, its natural to seek out and watch anything he makes ;) Same thing with me regarding David Simon (creator of The Wire). Dont expect much with Dollhouse, missed opportunity, but unique/interesting at times.

Firefly is good but it isn't really your hardcore sci-fi. More like the soft porn of the sci-fi world. :p But I really did like the series. As for Dollhouse after your description I don't know if I should even bother.

Its worth enough watching Dollhouse (Wash actor from firely's psychotic role in particular), but as I said missed opportunity.

And Firefly isnt hardcore sci fi because it wasnt trying to (thats a good thing IMO, more then its scenery), just using the scenery of that well for storytelling. But its virtually perfect mix of a tv series, gritty, mysterious (the world), cowboy space western, insanely witty (this alone is more then twice the reason to watch it), adventure-esque in "mission" like episodes, fairly uncomplicated in how it was showcased despite showing a collection of great characters in complex dystopic world.

My brain is way too tired right now to develop any great response, so I will say I do agree with Osman but Deedee is right in the sense that Serenity was completely and utterly disappointing.

I dig Serenity, I didnt expect more from a movie intended for closure and which was made due to the huge outcry after the ridicolous decision like cancelling the gem that is firefly.

But Dollhouse, as I said its worth watching, but since its Joss Whedon, I expected more, it had extremely good potential.

I was taking about Dollhouse. :D
Told you my brain was too tired think at the time lol. I will read everything over when I get home later.

A bit yeah :D But I was mostly impressed with the picture quality, I had just bought a new TV at the time ;)
 So what did you think of the entire series?

I love TNG... can't sit through the original series, tho. :)
ToS was my least favorite of all of 'em. I like TNG as well. I really like DS9 and Voyager too so you can try those as well.

I think all of those are streaming on Netflix I may give them a shot. Never watched them. I did watch the first couple episodes of ST: Enterprise I think it's called with Scott Bacula. Seems promising. And the Vulcan woman on board is quite attractive. :)
