It was a pretty good show, but you guys are totally exaggerating how good it was. The concept was excellent, but the jokes were often weak. Some episodes would barely make me laugh.

I loved it when i was 12 when a lot of the slapstick eqsue humour worked on me which i have since grown out of but i still have a strong fondness for it in my heart because i adored it when i was younger. Father Jack Hackett is one of the best commedy characters....top 100 for me. The same way blackadder will always have a place in my heart because it was one of my favourate (and remains) satirical commedies from when i was about 15.

Ahhh, well I havent this one enough to know, but I love Brit comedies (non better), and generally use to them to the level of getting them perfectly well. Unless its too local or regional of references, but in general, no issue, no.

I could said the isles, UK, whatever other distinction (not just Irish, because rarely seen specifically just irish comedy), but face it, you arent brit, you for sure have the same frigging culture and basically infused with them, that includes comedy.
