Re-watching Firely on a whim, seen 6-7 eps in a row. Good to do it every 2 years so you have time to forget details or scenes.

This season has been the worst by a long stretch. Incoherent, disjointed storylines that recycle old themes (pining after Karen, dealing with whatever guy she's fucking), Runkle officially becoming a caricature of himself in unfunny and overdrawn scenarios (him with the virgin and the transvestite). This RZA guy is awful too. Oh, and Mulder's daughter is worthless now. From a cute, sarcastic kid to a whining, brutish ogre.

There's no direction and it shows. Should be cancelled after this season is done.

I loved that show, but it got to be a bit stale after the first few seasons... Like they were running out of ideas.
