Don't know anything about Utopia, but GoT is actually an extremely good show in terms of plot consistency, especially giving the impressive plot complexity. Sure, there are one or two minor things which don't quite add up, but nothing's perfect. Don't know many TV-shows or movies better in that regard.

That show is much more than that - perhaps you should try watching it instead of having preconceived notions about it.
I've watched it. That's where I got those assertions from. Meh. Tries too hard and it's half written by a pubescent boy.

Just watched the first two episodes of Utopia, interesting plot, though Lion is right, it's kinda messy and isn't really consistent at times. The characters are meh, and some of their behaviour, especially Ians and Beckys, are not always believable. Grant's kinda cool, but he better have some backstory as to why he's so adapt at things like breaking into a home and being extremely independent and rational for his age.

Some nice comedic moments in between.

Overall I'd say it's defenitely a good show, but judging from the first two episodes not a great one by any means.

The soundtrack is awesome btw.

Dude, even the Gomorra TV show has Italian subtitles in parts, the freakking Neapolitans...
have never watched a single show with subtitles, never needed them tbh. It's weird that native english speakers would need them.

Yeah I know there are probably many accents, but still strange. I can even understand Jammie Carragher speaking without subtitles :D
