It's entertaining to read what people like Linebreak believe when they're being honest as opposed being evasive during an argument they're clearly losing. It's also mind blowing.
I imagine Linebreak believes that if he didn't have someone to tell him to believe all this baloney and he'd have to think for himself from the very beginning he'd now be a drug addict or on death row or something similar. There is a very strong current of fatalism among these people along the lines of "if not for my faith then disaster is inevitable".

They're deluded into thinking that their lives would be worse off without god in it.
I wonder if Linebreak has ever tried to livea month or 2 without any belief in god and see if his life is noticeably different or not?

You're right. It's proof that Brahma obviously created it.
Ramen!

You could start by not doing any religious rituals or practices like praying to god or going to church. Don't dedicate any amount of your time towards god and see if it makes a difference.

that experiment is destined to fail - belief in god is not based on factual, empirical evidence but conviction thru personal perception and interpretation of reality. That is to say, a religious person would tend to see/feel/perceive said differences even if they aren't actually there.
You still going on about this. The new faces I understand, but people who did this from the start, doesn't it get boring? Specially when all you see are the same arguments and the same counter arguments.
And it's not like this place on forum will or have changed any minds about believing or not, so why bother here?

There's no design, it's complete randomness as to how the system forms after the initial process that triggers it. Even if you don't believe scientific theory or the nebular hypothesis, the search for exoplanets has shown that there are a variety of planetary designs and solar system formations.
Just looking at our closest neighbouring system will tell it's own story - Alpha Centauri is a binary star system. It has an exoplanet roughly the same mass as the Earth, but it is so close to Alpha Centauri B it is most probably covered in magma. The system has no planets the size of Neptune or greater, so is not like our Solar System.
