Something is seriously wrong with army moral there, I remind seeing comparable videos of Iraqi soldiers running away when IS arrived.
Their military is filled with corruption.
Many are generals in name only and I read news that say that instead of looking out for their soldiers training, wellbeing and what not they got tangled in politics.

It’s a mixed bag under Taliban. The good is that the lawlessness, corruption, adultery, pedophilia etc is stamped out. Alcohol and drugs as well. That’s according to the Shariah law.

Unfortunately, they then somehow forget about the Shariah law and revert to old tribal customs as regards women’s education, nation building, international relations, beating the crap out of anyone who doesn’t agree with them and failing to acknowledge and embrace technology.

As far as I know there’s also the lack of unity among Afghani, as it’s a country with many cultural differences. Probably many guys are in the army just for the sake of it, receiving a paycheck without willing to die for their country. Also many lived under Taliban control before the Western invasion, where rules basically were different per warlord; some were in favor of girls going to school and some weren’t for example. And without a decent working government system I thought that many countries were in favor of the Taliban back then, even though they imposed harsh Islamic laws, trials didn’t exist at the government while the Taliban was capable of having them.

Its a really complex situation, I hope that they’re able to find a political solution instead of another civil war.

I think that the West really failed in her approach. We focused merely on creating armed forces/police officers for the government instead of creating a stable economy. We probably should had focused a lot more on creating jobs, having a working government system and education. Corruption mostly exist for the simple reason that it pays more than choosing the honest route. Rebel groups are quite rich due to external funds, and the paycheck is probably better there instead of being a poor farmer working on ground that isn’t really suitable for farming. Without a good foundation in those countries you remain in a vicious circle, it’s hard to break that nowadays where weapons, proxy wars, geopolitical interests and big bucks involving only increased.

I’ll take pretty much all of that over Shartria.

The guy next to that red crescent SUV is probably Iranian judging from the license plate.
Even the others look whiter than these guys.

I hope they don't let Ghani and his government leave. The Columbia educated elitist fucker was the leader of this broken ship for 7 years. He should pay the highest price.

It is no longer "our" government.

Look at this clown

Huge clown. At least Trump was in control of himself and not a literal puppet. But you know America, they want a feel good puppet to parade around with the dead troops.

Im not sure if you’re from that area or Iran or whatever. I’m not being serious with nuking the place. But I am serious about not caring enough to see more of our people die over there for nothing at all. This has gone on for too long and at this point I don’t care who dies as long as it isn’t the troops our stupid government sends over there.
