yes can be similar here as well, but depends on luck too. sometimes supermarkets will price things super low that it's not worth buying from farmer market unless you really want to support local business.
here some of our supermarkets have a freshness guarantee too so if something is rotten or bad you can return it for a refund no questions asked within a week for example.
