Even worse, if you heard the news about that gay couple in Brussel beginning of the week.
I am not saying they are all bad, but stuff like that can't be tolerated.
Yeah, I did. Apparently it's a recurring problem, as in happening on a (an almost) daily basis. I wasn't aware of that earlier to be honest.
Shocking stuff, and there's probably not a lot that can be done about it, considering the differences in culture, upbringing & whatnot.

Indeed, I have no problems with them living here, but if they want to live here, they have to accept stuff like that in a Western culture, if they can't accept it, go back.

That's the thing Ches. Overhere i got many friends who practice Islam. They are fully integraded but their parents can't even say hoe gaat het. What they do know is that they hate Wilders but once their Children get in the news screaming jews and cheering during somebody's funeral they are turning their heads the other way around. Anyway i don't hate Muslims not at all but i dislike the fact that they are not willing to be a part of this society.

Yeah. I don't expect anyone to "integrate" in such a way that they forget everything about their culture or values, but there are lines that we simply should not allow anyone to cross.

A page back, there's talks of the Cartoons.

Should muslims just stay quite and get insulted instead of protesting?
I see. That's not what this discussion was/is about though. But the cartoons always do come up when talking about this entire situation, because it's such a good example.

And it is your right to feel offended by them, even if I think that's incredibly silly. But hey, I might be offended by something you think is incredibly silly.
However, it's not ok to try & kill the guy who made those cartoons. And if someone does think that's ok, then frankly, that certain someone is an absolute retard.

So muslims should just shut up and be a part of the society when they are getting insulted?

Nice way of integration.
No, but what BF and I were talking about is that in Brussles, a man gay couple was beat up last weekend by a group of Muslims that can't except them being gay.
This shouldn't even be tolerated in their own country, but if you live in a Western country, then you either accept something like gay-ism, or you leave, you don't beat them up.

With regard to the cartoons, like BF said, the Muslims have the right to feel offended, but for many Western people this is funny since religion isn't as important for us. as it is for most Mulsims
For example, I personally wouldn't feel offended at all by cartoons of Jesus/God/The Pope or something like that.

However, I don not agree with people over here that wants all Muslims out of our countries, that is just rediculous.

it is very easy
of course you can have your own traditions and religions
but you have to learn the language and culture of the country were you live.

That's tragic.
How they did that and call themselves muslims is beyond me. I don't think what they did have anything with Islam in general to do. They are just stupid. Plain and simple.

I remember two gay people here in the Capital was going past a very "muslim" neighbourhood, and people started yelling "Get out of here, it's a muslim neighbourhood".

Shit like that always pisses me off. I distanced myself from these type of people then, and I still do it. I am very sure that most muslims agree with me.

Keep telling yourself that. I know we use this card a lot, but hey its valid. If you guys valued free speech so much, there wouldn't be laws against denying the holocaust, and Irving would not have been jailed.
    Exactly...

Freedom of speech can be applied when you insult Islam but you can not say a word against jews and holocaust.

Pathetic really for those who claim they are for freedom of speech.

Either you are insulted day and night or go back to your country. And even in your country if you complain about those who are attacking your beliefs, just wait for the planes to bomb you.

Why do you care what some idiot thinks or says about your religion?

Using threats of violence and prosecution to forcibly shut him up doesn't help the cause.
He is not a random idiot, Kyle. If he were a normal person, it would not attract anybody's attention, but he is one of the people that have followers in Holland. That means that his opinion is not just his own. For example, when he comes to his followers on Tv to say that "Palestine should be substituted by Jordan". Is that not stupid interferring in our own life?

Why is Taliban attacked then for having opposing views to the West?
