would you mind addressing his point though instead of calling him ignorant?
I would, but after years of being called an intolerant bigot by ze and Fred I'm kind of annoyed that they don't see how their views on this are incredibly demeaning.

Take away your running water, electricity, grocery stores, cushy shelters etc etc and I'd love to witness how fast you start to yell for Brahma, Yahve, Allah out what have you . As the saying goes "in the darkest of night even the Atheist believes".

Fwiw, I'm not for persecuting homosexuals...I i just find the hypocrisy and "superior than thou" attitudes in the pro-crowd.

People who are scared or dying will call for anything or anyone. That has very little to do with faith and even less with homosexuality.

The holier than thou attitude is something you display constantly. Of course it is going to boomerang.

it does bring up a valid point where do you draw the line, for example anal sex is technically illegal in many states here be it hetero or homo, so even the legal framework is so to speak 'archaic', the only reason we 'accept' homosexuality is because it was a strong movement that lobbied well.

'Movement', I disagree with you right there. But you're right, the legal framework is archaic at best.

Believers will never accept the homosexuality, there is no point to discuss this question with them
Of course there's a point discussing things. There's always a point.
