I am not implying anything, I am saying that she tried to date guys only because her friends were doing it.

Being gay in Sweden, is not only very much acceptable, it is normal and people don't stare on homosexuals making out in public and kids in school don't have problems with other kids with homosexual parents.
She probably started dating guys when she was 16-18. Could she possibly not know she was a lesbian? I don't buy the excuse because of her friends.

That "normality" you say is in Sweden, is probably encouraging it even more.

And there is no evidence for that. In fact, the only thing I've seen is the article Jack posted about lesbian couples having happier kids than straight couples.
Apparently according to latest studies, it affects the kid in a positive way.
Yeah. I'm not going to think about having babies with my girlfriend now, because the thought that I could raise "my" child better with a gay partner ruins it for me.

The point is that there is no reason to believe that gay couples are unfit to raise children.

Anyway, I'm bored of this. I'm out... for now.

The experiences she talked about were at younger age, when she was 14-15. No one is giving any excuse, I was just stating her own personal experiences as she has told them to me.

Sexual preference is neither being encouraged nor discouraged in any way or form in Sweden. All what I'm saying since the entire beginning is that if functions properly in Sweden and other countries there is nothing that can hinder it from functioning just as good in any other part of the world. I come from Lebanon and I know how it is there at the moment.

Yet no one said that you might not do a better job than any other homosexual in raising your children. It's just a research that showed that homosexual partners can raise children without any problem or threat.

Its a bit complicated but I will say for the most part a literalist
Wow. So you are definitely more in that Word-of-God camp. That takes a lot of faith. Not a value judgment on you. But I can't even look at the U.S. constitution and not see all the flaws generated from the context of the times it was created.

Well yes I have a very good amount of faith even through a lot of darkness and this upside down world I feel the presence of God

Yes and if the male population is gay bro whose gonna give her some sperm. I mean eventually the male population will even die out because of earlier male mortality rates. Then what
If you speak of adapting alla evolution gays will eventually not exist because they can't procreate right? Ps this isn't in jest its a serious question?

Every civilization of mankind has been so self-important throughout history, thinking whats been around for ages is somehow something new and that can drastically change the fate of the human race, so emo self-important. If homosexuality was a danger to the survival of mankind (or all living creatures, since most animals has as much sizeable homosexual tendencies as people), then nature, evolution would have taken its course and dealt with it. But obviously by now, thousands and thousand of years later, they are still around, a small minority of mankind, hence they arent a threat to the proceation/continuance of humans. So cut it with the lame hypothetical doomsday scenarios/arguments.

Irrational fears I get to a point, but whenever I heard or read similar discussions throughout the years, what bothered me wasnt as much as anti-gay, marriage, nature or choice topics (however hateful/intolerant they are), but the insane illogical stupidity of there being allways atleast one or two who take it too far and are vehement about homosexuality being a direct threat to the survival of mankind down the line, like somehow it will happen any time now suddenly (somehow conveniently bidding its time since dawn of time). Was such kinda scenario in a biology class in highschool, was 10 years ago, I remember it because needless to say it was possibly best session of my school days :pp (really sensible and patient teacher slowly breaking down the arguments and thinking of that one buffoon). Your facetious hypopethetical remarks like the above remind me of that (only reason I replied when I been avoiding this thread filled with so much utter idiocy).

I guess you didn't read the whole thread because I wasn't saying that at all
