What are our scouts doing? I mean why must we look at established players in other teams, or continue to pursue the Azzurri contingent? If that is the case, then let's give our scouts a holiday as we may well not need them, if all we are after are Azzurri players and other club's rejects  :sigh:

I say if the D'Ago deal falls through, get someone who has been playing consistently in a lesser known team (whether it be in Europe or South America); he would come considerably cheaper, and may well do a decent job. After all, even with D'Ago or Diarra we never know how consistent or injury-free they may be. Hello Scouts anyone?!
I agree with you there, whatever thay are doing i think they prefer to take in the local scenery rather than the football talent on offer. Considering they have arguably the best job in the world and easiest (paid handsomly to watch football in exotic parts of the world with minimal responsibility or accountability) they dont really do their job very well!

We should be seriously looking at players like Hernanes, Salvio etc. but nothing ever materialises

There's a link of Elano.

What about him?was he just ACM?Maybe we can use him as a regista like pirlo
Elano is a good player, he's quite versatile so he can act as a centre midfielder as well as an AM or a winger. His attitude is what worried me, for Man city he has only played well in patches and he cant offer good football consistently throughout the season. Players like this annoy me because they clearly cant be bothered and are not interested in the team. Having said that maybe if he played in a team that was competing for honours in the CL and domestically he may have enough motivation to play well throughout the season. But people like this are always a risk

Diarra isn't injury-prone, he has had only one serious injury during his spell with Madrid

Also a good player but I fear Secco is approaching this deal with blinkers on. Say he comes and our midfield is: Diarra-Momo-Marchisio

Then its Jan 2010 and the African cup of nations (stupid competition) rolls around and we no longer have a central midfield. It's bad enough losing one key player to this stupid competition every other year but 2 would be difficult to cope with

Its stupid to even think of Diarra when we have Sissoko with Poulsen backup, selling poulsen for a loss and buying diarra at 15 mil does not make any sense at all. And more than anything we need a deep lying playmaked more than anything else. If theres anyone who needs to be shipped out its our very own tiaga. If we get D`ago all well and good....if we dont we`re still quite well setup

Sissoko(Poulsen)

Camo (Zanetti)------------------------------------------Dago (Marchisio)

remember that udinese is asking for the imposible, giovenco. i would love d'ago at juve but if it means 50% of Gio then forget it.
diarra is not a bad option especially if we ofload polsen and/or tiago. but we still need a central midfielder other than marchesio.

Diarra came up against Momo twice when we played Real and both times he ran him (and his midfield partner) into the ground. No one dominates Momo!!
and that is the fault of one man, and here I was thinking this is a team sport
we overran Real all over the pitch, does that mean you don't want any of them at Juve?

Does anyone know any updates on the D'Agostino negotiations? Does Udinese still want ridicilous co-ownerships on Giovinco, De Ceglie and so on? Are the negotiations going somewhere?
