Zanetti is doubtful for the next season due to this injury.
Marchisio I see him play better as a box-to-box CM not a defensive DM with good positioning (Besides he can always rotate with Momo/Diarra)
Surely Diarra is much better than Poulsen.

Anyway, this might be one of the smokescreen to negotiate with Udinese.

Any Italian based members of this forum able to confirm some kind of agreement that been reached with Udinese on D'Agostino mentioned in Agnelli's paper La Stampa

For Agostino, an undisclosed sum**, Paolucci and half De Ceglie.

** Presumably, this assumes the sale proceeds of both Mellberg and Poulsen increasing the spending pot.

as long as the DC deal is not something stupid like the criscito deal and we end up loosing another promising youngster it doesnt sound too bad

Diarra was in case we sold Poulsen in Turkey which he refused apparently.
:andyandbarcelona: first tiago and now poulsen WTF.

The most important lesson that secco have to learn (if he ever) do not buy a player unless you're 100% convinced that you need him and he's you're main target.

Buying players for the sake of it because you couldn't get you're main target is just wrong and a waste of money and space.

It makes little sense for Tiago especially, to remain at Juventus when there seems such limited chances of him playing in the first XI. The world cup arrives at the end of next season, and both Poulsen and Tiago, surely need to be playing, in some way regularly, to cement their places in their national teams.

I can believe that Poulsen has some determination to prove that he can be an asset in Serie A because much of his game, and i assume therefore, his character, is rooted in tenacity. But Tiago...he has had far longer to prove himself, something more than the pallid ghost of his former self at Lyon and Chelsea. With the signing of Diego, and perhaps also D'agostino, as well as the continued improvement of Marchiso, the section of the park where Tiago could be deployed has become overcrowded. he can play centrally, or slightly more forward. And these positions are taken, without any doubt, by more useful players.

poulsen on the other hand, has more chance of playing, as the number one backup to Momo and Marchisio. I am ommitting Zanetti, as I don't think his body is going to hold together for much longer.

well said my friend...but the major problem with tiago is he was our first high profile signing so to say and im sure his wages would be an issue for a lot of clubs but i really do hope hes gone come august

The problem is, that there are no teams in our caliber, fool enough to invest on them, as we did! We sacrificed our limited resources to get them and have as decent depth choices, it is time to use them as such!

They dont wont to go anyway, they have reached the limit of the carrier and they dont want to make a deserved step back!

I believe if we use the 4-3-1-2, we are planning to use, we will need two starter CMs (Camo, Marchisio) and one starter DM (Sissoko), just behind Diego/Giovinco
and one sub DM (Poulsen) and two subs CMs (Tiago, CZ) to replace our starters.
This is a very balanced use of our material and all of them will have much more chances to play, comparing with the ones they had in our 4-4-2.
Where 3-4 players were battling for the place near Sissoko...

The new rules will probably suit them better too and they will be able to offer more!
The new coach ad formation will give them the ambition to make fresh start!
Unlike our defensive department, we have enough talent and depth in our midfield!

basically , it says that Udinese are searching for the direct replacement of d'ago !!
