I think CL payouts are higher than that, you have to think about primary, secondary, and tertiary costs and expenses.

You're talking participation, auto-qual, TV, gate receipts, travel, hotel, restaurants, merchandise.... for at least six games.

It's A LOT of money, especially if your budget already includes those funds.

People will trash pirlo but I liked him. He just needed a few years of coaching other sides before taking over Jj. Not sure what people expected of a guy with zero experience.

To me it says more about the person hiring than it does about the candidate
players liked him too. he was one of them not too long ago so the respect was there and you can tell they believed in his instructions. i'd have liked to see another season with pirlo instead of allegri

there is no belief in allegri

Replace president Agnelli with Del Piero
Replace director Nedved with Cristiano Giuntoli
Replace coach Allegri with Di Zerbi, Italiano, Roger Schmidt or..

If we don't get three points in our next CL game, the season is over (we'll be out of CL). We then need to face the consequences and bring in a new leadership from management to training.

I don't know if another coach will succeed at Juve in the short to medium term unless they have the clout and authority to influence the culture of the entire club. This club falls back too much on its past and its reputation as a big, winning club. Meanwhile, all the attention appears to be on commercialising the club and improving its brand, the players are pawns in those efforts and the core fanbase has been left out in the cold. I know that's important from a revenue standpoint, but it appears (and, as fans, we can only go by what we see) the club's culture is completely sterile, and the actual football departments are left in a state on inertia. Feels a bit like Man U a year ago, except we have no money.

Zidane is my international choice. Mancini is the best Italian.

The more time goes i think Pochettino would be ideal for us. Not as expensive as Zidane. And ticks that foreigner box, did well at Tottenham with limited budget. Psg are a mess of a club, Mbappe basically is a vise director there now and Neymar is a manchild. We have less egos here than them. Given we hired Pirlo when we had Ronaldo instead of Zidane is telling, clearly for one or another reason Zidane isnt coming here any time soon. Tuchel has been mentioned but i only see Tuchel as a very short term signing. Every club he has managed he last 2,5 year maximum. He also goes toxic in the media. He is in that Conte/Mourinho toxic category. People might say thats modern football but you dont hear Guardiola or Klopp leaving their clubs, alhough they have been there for 5-6 years now which is longer than almost all other big/rich clubs. I would also like some stability. We have had 3 coaches in last 4 years. Thats manu-esque. I dont take everything they say at espn for truth value but we really are turning into Manchester United of italian football. These were espn pundits words last week. And even Utd might turn the corner this season. Our transfer policy has been stupid the last couple of years and now we pay the price for it.

You guys better abandon the Pocchetino/Tuchel/Zidane realm and return to the realistic Pioli/Spalletti/Gasperini realm

It's over for JJ in this decade

Beaniebaby's 'Are you going to pay him?' made it pretty clear

bene also said that we were broke and fans shouldn't expect big signings, then we splashed 80m or something on vlahovic. you cannot take anything coming from the mouth of any jj representative at face value, be it allegri, bene or agnelli.

I agree but bringing Poch , will we get sucked into the Tothenham DNA? We need leaders on the pitch as well and a functional board. I cant believe we manage the transistion so bad . We had good young players recently and now we look like we are out of depth in many areas with old players need to be replaced.

And its obvious , the club is looking closer at the financial these days. We cant simply compete with EPL, PSG, Barca, Real and Bayern when it comes to signing top talents. Thats why our academy are being strenghten. I would like to see we get someone like Chelsea did with Potter, long term , good football and will use the academy rather than depending on signings, unfortunately i can't see a proper name for the Italian game . We also have the predicament whereby we cant afford to miss out CL football due to the financial implication . And also a coach that improves the player, whereby the players grows under him. Two Italian managers i know can fit this is Conte and Sarri, but we know both had a fall out with Agnelli. No chance they would come back and Conte definitely cannot work without spending massively so he will stay in PL for sometime.
