How did Del Neri do with Roma?

How about Porto or Empoli?

How did he do with Chievo during his second spell?

Oh, that's right. The answers consist of being fired or getting relegated.

Lets not be insane here.

Andy, while your busy getting worked up over nothing, could you point out where someone said Del Neri would be a good choice as Juve coach?

At Empoli he was fired before the season started. Crazy Italian chairmen I guess.

He lead Chievo from Serie B to the UEFA Cup.

He left Porto before the season started again. Apparently he wanted to return to Italy for personal reasons.

His record at Roma was bad.

He took over Chievo for the second time in the middle of the season when they were struggling at the bottom of the table, but they weren't relegated until the last day of the season.

Not exactly world class but not a total disaster.

This is third or fourth time that we are linked to Del Neri, everytime we are changing coach he is one of the candidates, but this time he could make it :(

The fact that he's even being considered by folks around here is alarming.

Whatever the case it was with Porto, alarm bells should be ringing.

If we want mediocrity, just stick with Zach.

Next season this team cannot afford to take any risks or settle for a decent coach. We simply need a top manager to get us out of this misery; a man with a plan.

There is no way I trust Del Neri for the job.
