According to Sky, Del Neri is ahead of Benitez now. The issue lies with us taking Marotta.

I think Benitez wants too much control and Juventus(Blanc) wants Marotta to deal with the big things and Juventus. Marotta would be bringing Fabio Guild(Chief Scout) with him from Sampdoria and they would coloborate along with Bettega on who best to sign. I think Benitez wanted to do all of that on his own. Will Del Neri come here? I don't think so. His favoured formation is 4-4-2 and with Juventus saying Diego is not leaving, I find it highly unlikly that Del Neri comes. I think Prandelli could perhaps come as Marotta likes him alot.

That's what I think happened with Ranieri late last season as well. And if this is really the case, that would mean 3 consecutive coaches losing their authority. Then I'd have to conclude that the biggest blame lays with the players & we should kick out those that are (most) responsible for these situations.
