Why is everyone disregarding the fact that Zacch might stay?
I miss playing Devil's Advocate.

I don't do it nearly as much as I used to.

Hopefully when i log in again, Zach will be gone with the wind and one of those gents will be on or bench instead...
I hope you log back in sooner than that.

If it's between Benitez and Zach, I'm going to have to say we should stick with the latter. Italian coaches are the best tacticians ever and that's exactly what we need right now.

I wish I were Italien.

We're being linked with Del Neri as well..

why do I have a feeling that it's going to be Pessotto or Conte or someone like that (maybe even Nedved?) like they want to ruin all our legends along with the current team, honestly the whole "our board are undercover merda spies" thing stopped being funny and I'm starting to take it seriously.

the problem is that we need to face facts, we're weaker than 6 teams at least in the league and we need to rebuild for years to return on top, so not even Benitez could get us anything next season, I'd go with someone like Arsene but not him for a few seasons then a Capello kinda one
and actually sacking Ranieri was a mistake, we could've used a third season with him before getting a winner

I'd want Benitez, Prandelli or Spaletti in order though..

If the logic of "Juve material" had any weight in the decisions taken by the Juventus top brass, Lippi would have never been Juventus coach.

Damn it, there are no guarantees in football. A decent coach can do wonders if conditions are right and a superstar coach can flop if the conditions are wrong. It is very difficult to say whether Del Neri, Prandelli, Allegri, Spalletti or whoever will be a success at Juve. A good showing with a small club does not necessarily translate to success with big club. The expectations and the pressures are different with a big club. You have to win every game, and two losses in a row become a crisis. Then again, a coach can have the mental capacity and ability to withstand those pressures and triumph. Who knows? It's almost always is a gamble.

You actually believe that finishing 7th in the league means being inferior to the six teams ahead in the table?

Its not a question of belief. Its a fact...Talk about excuses or reasons for the very clear inferiority shown by the league table, as much as you like, but it does not change the current state of play. Which is that, yes, we are inferioir, presently, and have been over the course of a whole season, to 6 other teams in our league. that is what finishing 7th means. Its not opinion. its hard, cold, fact.

No Sir we're not, and it certainly aint a hard cold fact. If finishing 7th means anything it is that the team haven't performed well result wise but it doesn't mean that our squad is actually inferior to the 6 teams ahead of us in the table, by that you're implying that freakin Palermo is better than us, viola and napoli. Players wise you're wrong in making such an assumption.

Jose Mourinho To Real Madrid, Fabio Capello To Inter & Arsene Wenger For Juventus - Italian Media Reports
A managerial earthquake has been forecast to shake up the summer transfer window...

Inter could take a look at England coach Fabio Capello as an alternative choice to Jose Mourinho should he be attracted by the overtures of Real Madrid, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Mourinho has been tipped to join the Spanish club if he wins a historic treble with Inter. He has already bagged the Coppa Italia, and is on course to add the Serie A title and the Champions League.

Moratti has said the coach's future will be a matter for discussion after the season amid speculative reports that the club were trying to tie him down to an extension.

"Mourinho's future? We will see after the finals games of term," Moratti told the press.

Still, Mourinho could use a €7 million get-out clause to end his deal and join the Blancos, leaving the door open for a new coach to take his place.

Top of that list is Capello. He is tipped to step down as England boss after the World Cup. And his no nonsense, tough guy approach to coaching appeals to Inter.

Meanwhile, over in Turin, Tuttosport are still speculating over who will come in as new Juventus coach.

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez, who was the favourite in Turin, hinted he could stay at Anfield following Sunday's clash against Hull City.

And the newspaper claims Arsenal's Arsene Wenger has been added to the wish list after having been linked with Juventus last year.

However, talk of landing the French coach seems little more than speculation. Fiorentina's Cesare Prandelli and Sampdoria coach Luigi Del Neri are strong candidates.

"I would like to coach Juventus," Del Neri is reported as saying.

You'd rather have Palermo's squad next year?
