Some nice news guys.

Another journalist on Sky has just mentioned we could even spend more than 80 million. We are looking at 7 new players. Updating all the training fields at Vinovo and hiring new medical staff.
80m over 3 years makes more sense considering our budgets of the past few seasons. I hope I am wrong, but I honestly do not see us spending that much in 1 summer, given our management's obsession with financial health. Juventus just today stated they expect a negative result for the years end.

As Roma have demonstrated, you don't need a team full of superstars to challenge Inter. A budget of 27m this summer + sales (30m) is enough to compete as long as we have the right men in charge.

how about klinsmann, aragones, magath, martin jol,roy hodson or alfio basile..wtf are we after the likes of del neri, gasperini and allegri instead

we need a coach with character and who has been in charge of a major team before and who has achieved results on a consistent basis

enough with the dumbass italian coaches who are one season wonders with mediocre clubs..ffs we hired a retard who managed to win the serie a once and look what we ended up with

there are so many good coaches out there that were not linked with..hopefully the media crap is a smokescreen while our board do sthing right for once and sign a world class coach

the coach imo is our most important signing this year by far!!we need some form of stability for once and that will only happen once we hire a capable coach

True. The coach is the most important.

Spending around 80m eur won't be a precedent though. Our team sucks and we failed to achieve our objectives. We won't play CL.
The last time we thought our team sucks and we didn't play CL (after we came back from serie B) we ended up spending 70m eur during the summer and winter mercato.

Its all about what kind of club we want to be. After all, Roma have always been Roma while Juve have a reputation to protect as being the biggest club in Italy. We can't act like Roma or Fiorentina on the transfer market, we're just two different clubs. We could go towards being a club like Roma but we would lose so much potential fans. If we want to be the European top club we've always been then we can't compare ourselves to Roma.

And honestly, Roma were lucky this season. I don't think they are able to compete for the scudetto every year with their squad. Juventus as a team have completely different expectations, we are expected to be up there and we are expected to have a superstars on our team.

For god's sakes, we have 29 titles while Roma have, what, two?

People keep saying that we should get a world class coach but now that Benitez is snubbing us too, what options do we have?

People keep saying that we shouldn't even be talking about the likes of Prandelli and Del Neri but what options do we have?

Perhaps it's time to face the facts, we aren't a world class club now and we won't be playing in the CL next year. Everton is one of the most legendary English clubs but there isn't a big line of world class coaches wanting to coach them. Past doesn't mean anything, present does. I'm also waiting for the coach announcement with fear, simple because we probably don't have other options than to settle for mediocrity.

We spent 70 mil in the season after Serie B? Can someone remind me, who did we buy then?

So much money waisted.
