Our midfield was non existent today, like seriously, Pjanic and Khedira were outplayed by Eriksen and Sissoko.. Bentancur was the best midfielder that played today.. I wonder why wasnt Sturaro played? None of our players were good except Bentancur, hell even Marchisio was a bit sloppy, we really need to start focusing and get the team gelled together quick if we want to win our 7th Scudetto and another CL Final..

Stururu will never play as long as we have wing options. Allegri has not a single time users him as CM in two man midfield.

Sure we were pretty garbage today but we always are in meaningless games. Juventus has never been good in the summer.

You gotta admit though, in the pre season games, Bentancur has played better than D Costa, and I like Costa a lot too, but if Bentancur does keep on improving as the season goes, and Costa does not, I would be all in to play Bentancur as the CM with Marchi+Pjanic/Khedira..

especially if its 3-5-2, which we all know will be used sooner or later by Allegri if the 4 at the back does not go to well, Cuads and Sandro on the wings to give us more power defensively..

I like Bentancur so far, refreshing tidy player. But that's all it is, he looks impressive because we expected nothing from him, not even to stay in main team. Costa has played 45 minutes over 2 games in very new setting, and Allegri said he is behind the rest fitness wise.


Give it time. Whatever happens happens, but don't jump the gun FFS and show some patience.


And if someone will bench Costa it will be Cuadrado /Berna, not Bentancur.

Obviously we won't gain our best form soon.So it so necessary to get 3 points from every official game we play in near future,doesn't matter how we look and we will look bad ,at least at the begging of the season.

Just get rid of either Asa or Licht and bring back Spinazzola, even if you give them Rincon for a year on loan with option. Get a quality CM if possible and one of Keita/Schick if not keep Kean till Jan.

But yeah the players didn't care and looked tired, we will be much more focused in a week's time. A week of training makes a world of difference during pre season.

Why so sad? Barzagli is one of the best CBs in the world and Rugani has more than a decade ahead of him to try and reach him

Are we keeping Kean or not? If not, why we even play him here? Loan him to Sassuolo or smth.

Lemina has played CM in 2 man mid, tho most of his CM games been in 3 man mid. It's latter he been used as winger alot more due no alternative for Cuadrado.


Sturaro in comparison haven't been entertained their once because it's top static and demanding for his inept technique and passing. He been used as run around Sue approach to give the hustle om wing and run into box ala pretend Mandzukic.
