Netherlands-Italy 12' GOAL REFUSED FOR NETHERLANDS. On a missed clear by the Italian side, a Dutch player took a shot from outside the box while Cocu was down just in front of the goal...Italian goalkeeper Abbiati stopped the ball but could not hold on to it and it got knocked in by Netherlands! However, Cocu, who was injured to the head on the first play was completely offsides and the goal was refused!

Netherlands-Italy 25' REFUSED GOAL FOR ITALY. This time it is Italy who had a player go out of bounds, cross to a team-mate who put it in! But with the passer being out of bounds, the goal could not be counted.
