Can he do it? Can they do that when they're in their last contract year? I'm not sure if it's last year either.

He has contract untill 2016...and he can't do it imo.
Only mutual agreement with club.he can try,but they would be stupid to accept.

They need to let him go NOW.otherwise his price will only drop, makes no sense keeping a not playing and unhappy player, who also not getting along with Mazzarri.

Maybe after they sign*(maybe) Hernanes, they'll accept to sell him to us.

No his contract runs till 2016. and i really doubt that he can rescind his contract, because if that would be possible, llorente( while playing for bilbao in his last year there) would do that immediately.

Inter Milan rejected our latest offer of a loan plus obligation to buy, they're trying to push him to Turkey(Gala) but the player only wants Juventus (GDS)

I can't see Thohir backing down now, the impression he leaves with the fans is very important for him at this point, and selling Guarin to Juve after pulling the plug on the deal would be even worse than doing the original deal. He'd have zero credibility left with the self-important ultras.

Still, things really do get desperate in the last hours of the transfer window, and he may well be able to do a deal, and turn it around to make Guarin the bad guy.
