Pretty poor deal considering the numbers. Especially if you take the ridiculous loan fee into account.

If he was a home grown player, we'd have sold him for about €12 million, give or take.
Give it a year or 2 we will freeze him out of the team and pay him 10 mill compensation just to get him off our books

I really like this player. Him and Yildiz behind a center forward is a great combo and I think both he and Yildiz will only get better. Shame that the rest of the team is lacking. This is why for the life of me, I don't know why we are trying to sign Sancho - there are much bigger priorities.
I think thuram worth being in the same sentence here.. guy is a beast and i think he has higher ceiling

It's an interesting case. So very un-Vlahovic in terms of his contract and making it work. His dad has coached him that Juve is a great place for him to develop, and he's taken it to heart.

I see you're being optimistic.

I actually fear we'll be desperate to get rid of him by May/June 26.

Your tendency to be pessimist is overtaken you on this occasion imo. I dont think he is likely be long lived in Juve shirt if his goal is to be full time starter.

But it's not likely at all we will be desperate to dump him end of the season.

We have very few players who can take on their man and beat them consistently. Until that changes, that skill alone will keep him safe--ish.

Prediction before season starts:

Will take a massive developmental leap this year. Tudor will be the coach he needs to improve his teamwork. Will be difficult to fight off offers next summer.
