Would be way more effective hugging that touchline with a constantly overlapping rb and a midfielder entering or present around opposition box on his side to combine. I don't see him flopping that hard for us to get rid but in our current setup coulda lost his spot if he was challenged by someone not named niko.

Again our dribble monkey is everywhere. A pity that off-the-ground header didn't convert. I'm not worried about his decision making I mean if he can dribble with his head up he is a 100 million player. Him and Yildiz are the only two in attack who can create something from nothing and we need both.

My biggest concern is that we don't have a decent enough backup for him (or Yildiz). You can't play a winger of his style the full 90 mins. No one has the stamina for that bar Messi. That's why bringing in Zhegrova sounds like a legit plan.

Vacca and I’m only somewhat joking. Zhegrova is cool, but does he play on the left? I think Miretti is Yildiz’ direct backup this season.

Ideally we get both zhegrova and someone else even if that is sancho as backups and competition.

parma defenders could only stop him with fouls. he just makes poor decisions. yeah it's an issue with him. he needs a few months of targeted coaching to become lethal. i hope tudor will find a way to make chico work after the club signed him presumably on his request

forza chico :hustini:

His game is outside the team concept. Like a discount version of Douglas Costa.

Head buried straight down. He does enough other things that hes probably a positive player because he tracks back and can shoot on goal a little bit.

He does need some development though. I wonder if he'll ever be able to play combinations

I hope he can develop a better strike with more power, it would make him way more dangerous.

He gets himself into great positions when he cuts in from the right onto his left foot (Robben did it best) but rarely does he pull the trigger he always tries to cut back onto his right and get to the end line. Works well sometimes but it's too predictable.

I don’t understand the usefulness of this guy. Undoubtedly skilled and fast. A busybody. But I'm not sure about his productivity. Unless you consider simply harassing the opponents as a job well done.

Hit the post, forced a good save from the keeper in the first half, recovered possession, pressed well and was pretty much the only player running into space to stretch Parma in the first half.

Exactly. He showed up from the first minute and was unlucky not to have a goal at half time. Best player in the first 45 minutes. It's funny how Conceicao just divides people: i see a bunch who does not even rate him and others think he is an absolute steal signing for €40m. He will need to consistently perform this season. I expect him to end the season with 7 goals and 10 assists.
