Bordeaux took Gourcuff on loan, and I agre that they have solid squad even I didn't watched to many their games. Cavenaghi finally found his form there and pretty good job. I hope that finally Lyon will have real opponent this season.

Yeah, Cavenaghi really did find it in the first half of the Ligue 1 season, you know who I think will be similar is Maxi Lopez of FC Moscow after he moves back to a UEFA Cup'esque club then he'll find his proper potential.

PS, Rudi Garcia is at Lille who goes to Lyon. It'll be interesting what Puel can do at a bigger club, with more financial backing... He's already brought in Makoun from there.

Mirallas is a very talented player..Puel really is a fantastic manager for unearthing talents like Mirallas, Makoun, Keita and Bodmer. Mirallas is a very good player with decent pace and skill to match it..he could improve his finishing, but imo he plays best with a partner, but Lille play him as a lone striker

I think Thuram would be a fantastic short term signing for PSG..there arent many center backs better than him in the Ligue.

Also, watch what Puel does for Lyon, this is a fantastic manager who is still underrated and unknown outside France..he's the French Prandelli if you will. Its a shame he didnt stick around to reap the benifits of the team he was building for Lille though.
