the forum homepage is not finishing the loading process in chrome. weird

because when i click on subforums or threads there is no problem

the homepage loads and displays all the contents but the loading process continues and the buttons to the last post for each thread is not showing

why?

Even when I read all posts in some thread it still shows unread posts that I read before when I come back. It's like this with some threads other ones are ok.

Is there a problem for anyone else with the new smileys that have been added lately (bambi, "stupid" guy, Ferrari flag, etc)? They don't show up for me if I try to use them, though they show up in the smiley list. I tried clearing my cache & they still don't work.
