Regarding the registration issue someone has posted about I just tested it and had no problems registering.
A few things:
1) You need to assemble the anti-spam image correctly
2) Completing the registration must take at least 15 seconds (another anti-bot registration measure). In fact you can't click "submit" until 15 seconds has passed.
3) Once your have completed the registration you'll get a message thanking you for your registration. If you see that, it's worked.
However! You MUST click the link in the e-mail the forum sends you after you have completed the registration. The reason for this is that you need a valid e-mail address (another thing to prevent spammers and to keep/limit people from posting from multiple accounts.
However part two! It is possible the e-mail is sorted out as spam in your hotmail/gmail/whatevermail or mail client program. So check your spam/trash folder
