Not really. As Ken says, it's not a bad track for overtaking. It's just that everyone spread out a bit, I think. I'm not sure - I missed the last 15 laps or so.
Ah now, that's a challenging section for drivers. If it's all straights, the quicker straight-line cars would just win. You might as well just go watch Nascar. And I suspect it was so bumpy mainly because it was new.

First guy will always have the same amount of weight on board as the 2nd, but will be a bit faster. Third guy has the same weight, but he's a bit slower.. etc etc. So basically you will have a train of cars, and there's a certain gap between the cars consistently ( apart from tires ) all the way through the race.
I expect good battles on the track, because we have more 'top' teams and drivers, but it will probably be less spectacular overall this year.

That section is really bumpy and I'm guessing they might fix it for next year, but for now it was basically wrecking cars and it's a bit of track where you can't overtake at all. The track is great as it was imo. But at the same time I don't really mind it either. It's nothing special though.
About the straights, they're obviously boring if there's too many, but they're great spots for overtaking. Take a different line and take more speed out of a corner onto the straight and the slip stream does the rest. Obviously, there's a few teams who simply lack power to do so, but it's the classic way to overtake.
