East Stirlingshire 2 - 2 Rangers (Scottish Cup Semi Final)

In a surprise result, East Stirlingshire overcame Rangers this afternoon to win 10-9 on penalties at Hampden Park.
Striker Gary Hutchison gave East Stirlingshire the lead with a close range header in the 29th minute. East Stirlingshire also saw their 36th minute strike questionably chalked off.
Centre-back Mihail Petkov doubled East Stirlingshire's lead with a well timed finish from close range on 56 minutes. Striker Harjan de Jong pulled one back for Rangers after 58 minutes with a fierce effort from eighteen yards out which beat the goalkeeper before going in off the post.
With time rapidly running out however, experienced striker Nikica Jelavic then scored a placed shot from close range to equalise for Rangers. Better late than never for Rangers and the fans were clearly delighted with Jelavic's impact.
East Stirlingshire's Steve Ngama received the red card for a professional foul with 110 minutes on the clock. In the shootout that followed it was left to towering centre-back Eder to keep a cool head and smash home the winning penalty for East Stirlingshire.
