Sakho is a must buy!!!!!!! No doubt about. Can start almost anywhere right away and is excellent captain material.
Nicolas Otamendi is like 19 or 20 when game starts but he becomes world class very fast. Right now I'm in like 2016 in my chelsea save with Sakho and Otamendi as my DC's and I'm nearly impregnable. Otamendi has even won European Defender of the Year. He comes rather cheap, too, but oh yea, he isn't EU. Otamendi becomes so good that I had to sell Chiellini, my fave player IRL and in the game, to make room for him.
Lukaku, of course, is can't miss, but depending on what side you are, he might not be good enough to play a lot of first team minutes if you are a top club.
This is a decent list, tho its from November and I'm not sure how any patches since then might have changed their rankings. But I think all are considered wonderkids in game.

I've started just one save since I got the full game as Chelsea and I am into my 8th season there I believe. I only sim friendlies, I have seriously managed every fucking competitive match. Lol. I just love it so much.
Current starting side in Dec 2016:
I've won the EPL every season, the Champions league in 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 yet lost the final last season to Juve.
Dzeko just hit 30 and is now Chelsea's all time leading league goal scorer.
Just spent a fuck ton to get Messi this off season, I've never had him in any version of FM and my team is strong enough that I could afford to spash the cash on him.
Lampard hasnt played a competitive match in going on 2 seasons. He's finally going to retire after this one.
I sold Drogba a couple seasons ago to some French side, then brought him back on a free to tutor song younger guys and finish his career with the club. He is also about to retire. What I thought was really cool was the fan reaztion to signing Drogba back, even though he's no where near good enough to sniff the first team, they were very pleased he was back with the club.

I agreed with Bordeaux for a straight swap of Grygera and Alou Diarra but Grygera rejected the move.(4-4-1-1)
