Hm, imagine if it came down to the last day, Juve vs. Milan. Juve needing to win to ensure CL place, Milan needing a win for a shot at the title.

The game would probably end in a draw.
If we need a win on that match, then we better hope that Milan are either out of the scudetto race and clear second, or they already won the scudetto before the last round.

Although, it's gonna be sweat if we both need the points and we beat them so they lose the scudetto that way.

Actually, that will suck. Because that way we'll gift the scudetto to Inter.

I just hope we won't need any points on that match.

What a goal in the dying minutes by Seedorf.

Milan were just walking around the pitch though, half their players probably dont run more than 6-7 km a game.

Oh boy, wait until Andy reads this.
Wonder what will he have to say about a guy who underrated the MLS so much and left it just to get a place at the WC.
I can't help but feel for a man who wanted to play at this WC so badly and will likely be haunted by missing out due to injury, but it is somewhat ironic how his injury came in the Serie A because he was fighting to maintain his NT place.

As an American fan this injury really isn't a huge deal to me. Beckham is not one of the players on this English squad who I was concerned about facing this summer.

He had to leave it in order to even be considered for a place at the World Cup to begin with.

Don't blame Beckham for the poor quality of the MLS. And he didn't "leave" them. He's on loan. And playing a lot more football than a 35 year old should be playing.

I wish there were a lot more players like him who would do whatever it takes to represent their country.

He tore his Achilles tendon. He's done. there is no way he can make it in time, and that's too bad. He really wanted to play.

But the underlying tone of some people here that are actually happy that someone is injured is really sickening

Agreed, I am no Beckham fan but I respect his passion and how much he cares for his NT in an era where so few players do. After joining the galaxy he could have just relaxed and taken the easy path, hanging out in LA and watching his bank account grow but instead he put in real effort on the pitch for a player of his age. Seeing him crying on the sideline was depressing, you don't have to be a professional football player to understand how upsetting it must be to him to miss out on this opportunity because of injury. His passion for the game and not just celebrity status is refreshing to see.

I've gained more respect for Beckham over the last 2 years than all the previous years of his career combined. Not that he really cares or not if he has my respect to begin with.
