Can't wait for their game against chelsea, hope they get trashed big time in that game. That game alone would make up for all the crap season we had so far. The look of moratti and morinho faces will be priceless.
Yes, indeed. I still respect Chelsea, even after they knocked us out, last season, but if they do us this favor, I will start to love them again...

I know an Inter fan (yes, I am ashamed, but he's my brother) who claims that Mancini is crap in Europe, good in the league and Mourinho is good in Europe and in the league.. we'll see how good Jóse truly is, against Chelsea!

I saw a replay of the first half and highlights of the 2nd half, and I think I've seen most of what happened on this match. I can do nothing but fully agree with you. The referee was spot on with every big decision he made.

Actually, one can argue if the referee could have given even more cards to Inter. The behavior Inter showed yesterday is so disgusting that I'm shocked how it can happen at this level. Every single decision that went in Samp's favor was accompanied by strong pressure, disrespect and ridiculing of the referee. Eto'o yelling at the ref and almost head butting him, Stankovic screaming Basta, Basta (Enough, enough) to the ref after he gave a perfectly valid free kick to Pozzi. Maicon destroying Poli and then, when the ref gave a foul to Sampdoria, holding his head and laughing hysterically as if the ref didn't give a perfectly valid penalty to Inter.

Anyway, Inter players being disgusting is an established fact so I won't bother with it anymore. What I'd like to know is why is this happening right now.
Lately Inter seem to have adopted the "We're victims, everyone's against us" mentality. Is this Mourinho's way to motivate his players before Chelsea? If it is, then someone should remind Mourinho that this mentality didn't work for full 17 years.
Or does this mean that Inter can't take the pressure of another CL failure so they're already showing nervousness and fear?

Whatever it is, tactics or consequence of the CL match, the nervousness and the pressure on Inter is obvious. You can see it on their faces and they're slowly starting to losing it on the pitch. I agree that it can make them stronger, unbeatable and it might be what they lacked in the past, but imo there is a bigger chance that this might reflect negatively on them.

In any case, Roma's win today (bah, even Milan's) will make things even more interesting and nervous.
As rab mentioned, the preparation for the Chelsea game is certainly coming into it. But I think you have to combine it with the pressure factor you mentioned. This guy has been trying to rile them up (I think the fact that Samp beat them last year adds to it as well) and then he got a bunch of angry players kicking everything in their way. There wasn't a single Inter player out there that didn't play dirty.

They know they have a huge game and I think the pressure on Mourinho to deliver is telling there as well. If he is anxious about the game, that could be transferred back to the team as usually his teams feed off his energy. He is a bit more nervous because if this Chelsea team beat him and do well, means that his era and legacy there is well over. And actually the team that Ancelotti has after a few months is better than an Inter team that he has been building for around a year and a half.

Now this is where it gets interesting for Mourinho, he now has 9 players that are dead tired while Chelsea breezed through their game.

You can see Ranieri has changed so much. He used to screw our chances up whenever we had the chance to make the gap closer but now he really did the job. Hope he manages to throw the lose label away in the end of the season.

I watched it parallel with Bologna-Juve.
It was a tensed match in Rome and Roma didn't look confident. They knew that it's a must win match so they looked a little shaky.

But the last 4 minutes (the added time) were brilliant. Roma players brilliantly kept the ball by the corner flag for more than 3 minutes.

So what about Milan?

Do you guys want Milan to win the two matches and get only 4 points behind Inter or lose them both and be only 4 points ahead of us?

No need to say what's my choice :D

Fuck Inter failing, I'm first and foremost a Juve fan and I want us to finish as high as possible.

If we finish 3rd we don't have to play in the qualification for the Champions League so can avoid teams like Sevilla, Valencia, Liverpool, Manchester City etc.

That's true but the third spot is far from being realistic considering our tough schedule.

True.
But for me it's a no brainer since i'm choosing Inter over Milan.

Tonight i'm cheering for Bari, but if Milan win and make a 7 pts difference to us, then I'd prefer a draw, or even a Milan win, on Fiorentina-Milan this Wednesday.

Forza de mothafuckin Roma!

PS I too prefer Printer over Meelan. Imagine Milan would end up winning it this year, they wouldn't shut up about it for the next 10 years, I'm not even exaggerating,
