The funniest thing to me is their genuine surprise to those cards.
The fags have been so spoiled over the years that they've forgotten the rules of the game.

inter fans showed why they are lowest of all humankind.

on the other hand sampdoria looked like they feared to win. this miserable team are still ahead of us in table and whoever responsible for this shame deserves to be lynched instead of taking payment from club.

Stuff like that pisses me off. Stupid Calcio mentality.
It's stuff like this that is killing italian football. The smaller teams have no guts & the big teams are so placid that they just expect to turn up & collect 3 points. No wonder europe is getting harder & harder.

The ref was brilliant tonight. All cards were deserved. He didn't panic or fail under pressure.

I want to know on what calls Mourinho thought was wrong him and his clumsy players.
I saw a replay of the first half and highlights of the 2nd half, and I think I've seen most of what happened on this match. I can do nothing but fully agree with you. The referee was spot on with every big decision he made.

Actually, one can argue if the referee could have given even more cards to Inter. The behavior Inter showed yesterday is so disgusting that I'm shocked how it can happen at this level. Every single decision that went in Samp's favor was accompanied by strong pressure, disrespect and ridiculing of the referee. Eto'o yelling at the ref and almost head butting him, Stankovic screaming Basta, Basta (Enough, enough) to the ref after he gave a perfectly valid free kick to Pozzi. Maicon destroying Poli and then, when the ref gave a foul to Sampdoria, holding his head and laughing hysterically as if the ref didn't give a perfectly valid penalty to Inter.

Anyway, Inter players being disgusting is an established fact so I won't bother with it anymore. What I'd like to know is why is this happening right now.
Lately Inter seem to have adopted the "We're victims, everyone's against us" mentality. Is this Mourinho's way to motivate his players before Chelsea? If it is, then someone should remind Mourinho that this mentality didn't work for full 17 years.
Or does this mean that Inter can't take the pressure of another CL failure so they're already showing nervousness and fear?

Whatever it is, tactics or consequence of the CL match, the nervousness and the pressure on Inter is obvious. You can see it on their faces and they're slowly starting to losing it on the pitch. I agree that it can make them stronger, unbeatable and it might be what they lacked in the past, but imo there is a bigger chance that this might reflect negatively on them.

In any case, Roma's win today (bah, even Milan's) will make things even more interesting and nervous.

It won't happen.
Well we'll see about that, but one thing that i'm certain of like the back of my hands that Inter are the biggest chokers in the game. And when they're under pressure and nervous its certain 100% that they will fail. That was true 20 years ago and its still true today IMO.

Good post and i totally agree specially on that part where you're saying that they're feeling the pressure. Infact i sence that even mourinho doesn't have confidence in he's team. They may dominate in serie A for a reason or another but they're piss poor in europe.

sat and watched the game yesterday(in spite of myself) and have to say i was extremely impressed with the ref's performance,he made almost all of the big calls correct and was not intimidated by the preassure Inter players put on him. the 2 Inter reds were completely correct, big decisions, brave decisions. add to taht the 100% correct decision to book Eto'o and it was almost perfect....

however

i felt that he bottled out of sending Milito off for the worst challenge of the game, particularly as he was looking right at it,thankfully it only resulted in a gash on his leg but if his leg was planted it could have been a leg-breaker. also the second yellow for Pazzini was the call of a man who felt he needed to make a call for the partisan home crowd,Stankovic went down without any contact, sure Pazzini was stupid for sticking his leg out but there was little,if any contact

as for Sampdoria...well.....take away Cassano and they have no creativity, they didn't utilise the 2 man advantage and looked completely devoid of ideas on how to break down Inter. if i was a fan of Sampdoria i would be furious at the approach, tactics and attitude of teh players who looked frightened to go for Inters jugular,it was a missed opportunity

It won't happen.
I agree
I predict a replay if their last year Man Utd scenario
0-0 in Milan because Mou is so cowardly and he's going to defend for 97 minutes complaining for penalties
then in London Chelsea will be satisfied with 2 goals then kill the game

I forgot to say that yeah, Eto's approach at the ref was a definite second yellow

I really feel sorry for Inter fans, I have good friends here who support merda, they actually believe that refreeing is the reason of every failure they face, Moratti and Mourinho are two big mouthes nothing more and the fans are stupid enough to follow
I can't believe they don't notice how many favours they receive(d) I can't recall them because they're just too many

Add to that Javier Zanetti instead of acting like a Captain and leader of this team he looked even worse than Stankovic. Very childish, very immature from the so called Italian Champs very Inter move however.

I even laughed when Mourinho was laughing at Eto'o incident. The mother fucker thinks they really deserved a penalty and he was giving that stupid laugh for god knows what reason.

That's the reason I believe and I'm 100% sure of it. Always when Inter are on for a big test/match, they're acting this way and specially Mourinho to motivate his players and put their mentality under pressure before the match starts.

    Even funnier:

Udinese have fired Coach Gianni De Biasi and brought back Pasquale Marino, the club announced.

The decision was made after Saturday’s 3-0 defeat away to Genoa, meaning they are the only Serie A side without an away win this season.

It is a return for Marino, who was sacked on December 22, but since then the Friulani have managed just six points in eight Serie A games.

“Udinese Calcio confirm the squad has been handed back to Pasquale Marino and his staff,” read the statement.

“Udinese Calcio also thank Gianni De Biasi for his hard work and professionalism during this time.”

The squad has been locked under a media silence until Wednesday’s rescheduled Serie A tie with Cagliari.

Depending on today's results, they could be sucked down into penultimate place.

Surely Inter can expect severe punishment for their behaviour yesterday. If not, you might aswell shut down the entire Serie A. Some of these street thugs just can't hide from their roots, no matter how much money they make.
