Official: Parma-Inter snowed off Sunday 31 January, 2010

It is now official – Parma-Inter has been snowed off and will be played on February 10, therefore moving the Coppa Italia semi-final.

There were fears that the match would not be able to go ahead after heavy snowfall continued overnight and into the morning.

The Stadio Tardini pitch was covered by a protective tarpaulin, but the inspection found the stands had sheets of ice that made them unsafe for fans.

The Lega Calcio announced that the game has been called off and will now be played on Wednesday February 10, kick-off at 19.45 GMT.

This was originally the date for Inter’s Coppa Italia semi-final against Fiorentina, so that must now be moved to another time.

Cassano on loan sounds like the best piece of business possible for Fiorentina, while Sampdoria again proves what a pussy club they are, who had that brilliant idea to loan out their best player to one of their rivals during mid-season? Right now they are level on the table, but come the end of the season, I'm pretty sure that Viola will be a lot closer to that 4th spot than Sampdoria.

Lazio have just completed the signing of Thomas Hitzlsperger from Stuttgart, very nice swoop from them and a clever addition to their team.
